Chapter 7: Ch 07: Together 3
Only a pair of minutes had passed, and the creature has already devoured the vampire's body. It didn't left anything to be wasted, not a single drop of blood. But it wasn't enough.
(More. Moooreee.)
In the mind of the creature, the only thing that remained was its thirst and bloodlust.
(It's not enough. I need more blood.)
It really wasn't enough, it felt how its throat was getting dry even after all the blood that it has already drank. His judgment was cloudy; unable to think with clarity due to the painful dryness in its throat didn't make it easier.
Its body was demanding for more, and other sources of that divine crimson liquid were already near to it. The smell of the blood in the air was alluring, and for the creature was like smelling a buffet while only being at the entrance. It wanted to 'enter' to that place and greedily devour all in the table.
Suddenly, a red eye appeared in the center of his face, and then, its vision changed, showing a red world with black humanoid silhouettes moving around. However, the thing that caught its attention was the red orb located in their chests.
"Blooood." Said with a demonic voice.
The creature then started walk slowly towards the crowd of silhouettes with his mouth salivating.
"I need blood to feed. I need carnage." Its thoughts started to be filled with nothing more than killing and hunger. "I need MORE!"
At this rate, the creature was going to initiate a massacre, nothing was going to stop him, and at least hundreds would die.
However...
[No!] The voice of a woman sounded in his head. [Please, stop.]
"Who...?" The creature tried to ask.
The voice sounded too familiar to him, it was pleasant to him. But when he tried to remember from who was that voice, its memories became foggy.
[If you kill innocents, then, there's no turning back. You'll became into a true monster.]
(Who are you!?) The creature yelled inside its mind.
It somehow recognizes that voice, but because it can't remember well, he starts to get frustrated and started attacking randomly its surroundings. Then, the creature began to climb the walls of the buildings, leaving the scorched and wrecked alley.
/Several minutes later/
When the creature arrived to another alley, after crossing several streets through the roofs buildings, it stayed still in the place. This time, without provoking havoc.
During all the way, the woman's voice has been talking to him. It couldn't understand what was feeling at that moment. It was feeling happy but sad at the same time each time it was hearing her voice. It wanted to know who was talking to it.
[Please my child. Remember who you are.]
Then, with those words, it didn't know how, but the fog in its memories about the owner of the voice started to dissipate. (How could I had forgot you? Mother.) Tears began to fall from his only eye after remembering.
[Yes, it's me. My dear...]
["Zircon"] Both said at the same time.
The bloodlust inside him started to decrease making him think in a more rational way. At the same time, his body started to go back to normal, but he ended up falling in a trash bin.
He didn't know how it was possible that his mother could talk to him inside his mind, but now he understood why he was feeling happy and sad at the same time. He was happy, because he could hear his mother's voice once more time. And sad, because he knew that he would never be able feel her embrace again.
The tears continued to fall from his eyes.
"Waa... waa."
Little he knew that in that isolated alley, someone would hear his crying.
/In an apartment, several minutes later/
Zircon was in the embrace of a young woman of blue eyes and blue hair. Apart from his mother, she was the most beautiful woman that he had ever known. Well, that's also because until now, his mother was the only woman that he ever knew.
Now, to be clear, even if Zircon identify the blue haired woman as beautiful, it's in a child point of view. Even if he was capable to understand certain complex words from the adults, that didn't mean that he has the mentality of an adult. No, inside he was still 2 months old, just a little smarter than the average.
Anyway, when both of them went out from the elevator, Zircon couldn't help to feel amazed by the view. From his point of view, it was as if he was just transported into another world.
It wasn't like his former house with his parents was in a poor condition for a middle-class family. However, the decoration inside of this apartment was completely different. He has never seen a wall covered with only clear glass. Even as a baby, he likes startling stuff.
Not long after, the blue haired woman sat in a couch with him still in her arms, and then started to play with him.
He started to laugh for the first time since his parents' death. Even if it hasn't passed a long time since then, and still doesn't understand completely the concept of death, he knew that he wouldn't be able to see them again. But the woman holding him and playing with him, somehow managed to make him felt safe.
Zircon doesn't know her, but something tells him that he can trust in her.
However, his thoughts were interrupted when he started to feel hungry, making him cry.
He could observe the preoccupied expression in the woman for him, making him felt happy. But he was still hungry and couldn't stop crying.
It didn't take long for the woman to put her bare breast in his mouth. Knowing what it meant that action he started to suck the milk out of her breast. It had a sweet flavor in his mouth.
Maybe it wasn't like his mother's breast-milk, it was different, but it wasn't bad.
Alas, even if his stomach was being filled, he still felt thirsty. It wasn't enough, he needed something else to ease his thirst. Then he started to felt the smell of the blood in his nostrils and two sharp fangs grew from his toothless denture, making sure that they pierced gently her bare skin to avoid hurting her.
Minutes later, he was already satiated, but he couldn't understand why the blue haired woman had her face red and was breathing heavily, making him think that maybe she was sick.
Later he heard another female voice, but he couldn't understand what she was saying.
The he saw another young woman with blue eyes, but her hair was blond, and from his point of view, it seemed to be made with golden light.
Both of them were talking about something that he couldn't understand, but when the words "send" and "orphanage" sounded in his ear, something inside him was triggered.
He didn't know how, but he knew that if he was sent to that 'orphanage' then he was going to be alone again. Zircon didn't want that, they didn't want that. As a consequence, the blue shade's emotions grew untestable, she hated the idea to be alone and she has already suffered too much being alone.
Then, the blue shade's power started to manifest itself, turning his red eye into blue like the other and both of his fangs were growing.
Zircon felt something similar to when he became into that creature, but this felt colder. If what he felt when being that black creature with red veins was comparable to turning into a savage and sadistic beast, this was like turning unto a cold monster without empathy for life.
He felt his body changing and he didn't want that, but the emotions of sadness and loneliness were too strong inside him.
But then, a soft voice spoke to him. "Don't worry. I'm going to be with you, forever."
Her words even reached the red and blue shades hearts. They didn't know why, but they felt that they could trust in her words, and both souls cried with happiness.
Only then, 'they' were at peace. And Zircon, feeling his eyes heavy, closed them slowly, entering to the world of dreams.

Fever (Villain4ever): I know that the majority, or well, everybody, has already figured it out that this 3 chapters were about how Zircon (the child) ended up in that situation.
Between chapter 2 and 3 there are important clues about the continuation of the plot.
