Entering the school in such a way was first time for Issei, especially in casual clothes. All the students in the campus during the lunch break looked at him and passed weird comments amongst themselves, but Issei wasn't bothered at all.
'I guess having the curse lifted has given me some kind of confidence against the women.' Issei thought with a small smile hidden beneath his straight face, 'Now, I can't even discriminate them from a boy to girl. They all feel the same to me as a person.'

"What are you doing here in your regular clothes?" Saji pressed on with an scowl, "Are you so focused on the girls that you forgot that this is a school?"
"No, no, I'm on a leave." Issei shook his head at the misunderstanding, "I'm going at the Student Council's room to talk to Kaichou, wanna come with me?"
"What do you want to talk about?" Saji asked with an confused look as he joined him.
'That's a good question.' Issei noted in his mind, 'What am I going to talk about?'

'You're smart.' Issei complimented with an relieved smirk, 'Thank you.. Uh, what should I call you?'
"Issei, what are spacing at?" Saji shook his shoulders as they climbed the stairs, "Were you hearing when I said that the smart-ass Kageyama has been hitting on Kaichou. They have even started playing chess in their free time."
"Huh." Issei honestly didn't care, but he comprehended that Saji did. He seemed to care about his Kaichou like an loyal subordinate.
"Everything happens for a good reason, Saji." Issei stated wisely and patted his friend's shoulder.
"That's coming from you?" Saji was genuinely astounded and stopped for a moment, "What did you have for breakfast today?"
"N-Nothing unusual." Issei shook his head with an strained smile.
If Saji could easily notice that he had changed, then it would be so simple for the smarter people in the Student Council room to find out that some things have changed in him.
'Revert back to monkey. I mean, the stupid old pervert.' Issei affirmed in his mind and his posture slowly changed from an confident to lousy, lecherous gazed creep.

It worked! One of the girls he looked at, particularly her breasts, easily noticed his gaze and slapped his face before running away.
"Some things don't change." Saji sighed, "When will you learn, Hyoudo?"
"Good." Issei muttered under his breath as he was confident at being a stupid.

Issei saw that he had notifications but the Student Council room was close, 'I'll check them later.' He noted and entered inside the room with Saji.
"Oh, Saji. You're back from your patrol." A girl greeted upon their entrance, "And you brought back a pervert with you." Her smile withered upon seeing him, "Great."
"Yoo, Hanakai-san." Issei greeted with an sheepish and goofy smile.
Momo Hanakai simply snorted and went back to her business.
'So rude.' Issei thought and turned towards the elephant in the room, 'Oh, they're staring.'
"Hyoudo." Yuuki was present here as he had expected. The Guy greeted him with an welcoming smirk and patted the chair next to him to grab a seat, "You here for business?"
"Yeah, kinda." Issei shrugged and accepted the offer. Though while walking towards them, he looked at Yuuki and used his Observe.

Even when he was immersed in his thoughts, Issei didn't forget about his facade.

Was he going to fear a person like Yuuki Kageyama, who had committed several atrocities in his past life as Sam Smith?
Issei almost released an soft chuckle at his mind's response, 'Oops, gotta maintain the act.' The Pride in him won't stoop so low as to fear an overpowered mongrel, like the one sitting next to him.
"Issei Hyoudo-san." Sona Shitori, the Student Council president called out to him with an stern scowl, "What's your purpose of coming here? And looking at your attire, are you on a leave?"
"Y-Yes, Kaichou." Issei nodded with an nervous smile. At least, he could pretend to be afraid right now.
Yuuki released his clutches from his neck and observed the scene with an quiet scowl on his face.
'Might as well Observe her.' Issei thought as the woman before him was giving him an unusual vibe.

'They are all Devils.' Issei concluded as he glanced at the other people present in the room as well. He didn't Observe them as taking so much time would be suspicious.
"Are you okay?" Sona questioned and slided an glass of water towards him.
"Yes, Kaichou." He nodded with an exhausted smile and chugged down the glass of water.
One thing he didn't understand, why was his relation with Sona higher than what he had with Saji?

'So I was at -20. Great.' Issei thought as he placed the glass down. He subconsciously wondered what had changed for such an drastic development.
"Kaichou, I want the permission for a leave." Issei started in an polite tone, "I've found a doctor, a neurosurgeon in the city who I think could help me recover my left hand."
"That's good for you." Sona nodded with an empathetic expression, "You'll have to write me an formal letter for the leave. I'm sure your parents are aware of this."
Issei simply nodded than answering verbally, because he didn't feel right using his parents in a lie.
"So you've found a doctor, eh." Yuuki smirked while folding his hands with his eyes closed as he leaned back on his chair, "That's great."
'Yeah, I will kill him.' This was a decision Issei made with an rational mind.
"So, are you done here?" Yuuki asked with an polite smile, "We are in the middle of something, you see."
Issei looked at the chess board placed on the desk between Sona and Yuuki.
'I've got what I needed.' Issei nodded in acknowledgment and stood up from his seat, "I'll mail you a letter, Kaichou." He bowed to the Student Council president and moved to leave the room.
'So... Dragons and Devils, huh.' Issei thought on his way back to home from school.
The Phase of knowing his enemy was complete. Now, he'll have to start preparing to face them on equal grounds.
