Dawlish hesitated, then spoke.

There were three Dark Arts shops in Knockturn Alley. Both Borgin's and Goblin's had been reported in the past, but the Ministry did nothing about it.
Therefore, they did not believe that there was nothing fishy going on.
"The Dark wizards must be planning to get back at this place!" Sunny exclaimed angrily.
Ellison nodded in agreement, her expression one of indignation.
Dawlish fell silent. He could only imagine that the woman who owned the shop must have been persecuted by the Dark Arts in her early years, and thus insisted on working in Knockturn Alley even though she was poor.

Humans are visual creatures, and Alicia's delicate features won her favour among the three Aurors almost at first sight.
This, coupled with Ivan's impromptu story, made Dawlish and the others feel more sympathetic towards Alicia.
"Don't worry, we'll definitely help with the investigation…" Dawlish promised, patting his chest.
Sunny and Ellison also promised to mobilize their friends to help when they returned to the Ministry.

As Sunny watched, the toy bounced on her shoulder. It was so cute that her heart melted.
"This is an alchemical creature based on the appearance of a magical creature, Puffskin. The price…" Alicia explained to Sunny, then turned to Ivan when she mentioned the price of the item.
"The original only cost one Galleon!" Ivan said.
"It's so cheap. Can I buy one?" Sunny was immediately tempted. Since it wasn't expensive, she wanted to wear one.
"Of course, no problem. It'll just have to wait a day or two. This is the only special one in the shop for the time being. It's just a sample." Alicia smiled and nodded.
Sunny could afford to wait a day or two, but she also pestered Alicia to touch this alchemical version of Puffskin.
After a moment's hesitation, Alicia agreed, but reminded Sunny that it was best not to infuse it with magic.
Ivan found this strange. As an alchemical creature, this thing relied on its magic to function and not collapse.
However, after seeing that Alicia had dealt with one of the Aurors, Ivan did not think too much about it and focused on Dawlish and Ellison.
"Captain Dawlish, do you need anything other than a protective ring?" Ivan asked.

"Are you sure?" Ivan asked, pointing to a pair of ear-shaped magical objects on the other side.
"They're Extendable Ears. You can hear the other side if you hold one of them, and most importantly, they don't have any magical fluctuations, so they can't be detected. They're supposed to be useful for information purposes, but they're only selling them for sixteen Sickles… not even a Galleon!"
Dawlish, who had already made up his mind not to buy anything, was tempted again. It seemed to be cheap…
