Mauve wiped her hands on the napkin as she stood in the middle of the kitchen. She had just washed the dirt from gardening off her fingers. Thankfully, she had managed to not get her outfit dirty.
The servants looked busy, she could tell they were starting up to prepare for lunch even though that wasn't until another three hours but since there were more people at the castle, they would need that much time to prepare food for everyone.
Mauve noticed Mill wasn't anywhere in the kitchen. There were a few servants she could recognize but they all kept their distance from her.
It could be because of her or the fact that Louis was in the kitchen too. He could have waited outside, she didn't see why he had to follow her in here.
"Thank you," she said to the servant as she gave her back the napkin.
