Chapter 198: GONE 3

We got out of the elevator, standing before the conference room. For some unknown reason, Falcon had a smile on his face which I ignored cause I didn't have the time to think about it. All that was in my head at that point was Alex, seeing again was all I wanted.

We stepped into the conference room, which held the board of directors and some important members of the organization. The Comigo inc where here, but not Alex. My eyes swooped around the people in there but still could not find the one person I was looking for.

Where's Alex? Why's he not here? Will he come later?

I sat on the sit reserved for me, the faces that once frowned at my presence now smiled and we're all elated to see me, except of course the little demon Philomena. She has always been jealous cause one, I got Falcon's attention and two, cause I got into her position the very first day I got here and was also given one of the biggest deals yet.
