Annoying Jerk was intent about his question. I had to answer. I didn't know what to tell him at this point. I couldn't tell him that I was a multidimensional breed.
I wasn't permitted to. But then again, I needed to have one person I trusted with every — I mean, every detail. If Annoying Jerk was that person, then so be it.
"When we return, I'll tell you everything but not now," I said to him, my eyes on Melina.
I could feel her confidence now. It was no doubt that she had gotten more confident than before. Her language had improved too. I never for once thought that those people would treat her this well.
There must be a reason. I'll ask her why later.
"I don't trust them." Tov chirped in my head and I had to agree.
They seem like people who have plans under their sleeves. Melina's power was too powerful to come into the hands of the wrong person. I'll have to move her.
But to where?
