Chapter 73: Forever A Changed Man

There was no way I would run away and abandon her to deal with Boris. I might not be as powerful as him, but I was not a coward to run off and leave my mate behind. I ran back to the clearing to find that Boris and his pack had surrounded us. There was nowhere left for us to run or hide.

He was standing over her looking exceptionally angry. Anya had shifted back to human and was sitting on the ground naked. I decided to join her and shift as well. I would stay there naked with her. If we died tonight, it would be together.

"Together forever, my love. Together forever!" I mind-linked to her.

"Together forever!" she answered.

One of Boris' men grabbed me and pinned my arms back as I walked over to her. He was much stronger than me, and I was unable to move. As hard as I tried, I could not break free.

"Boris! Please don't hurt him," Anya cried.
