The metal door that leads into the production plant was pulled off by the intruder easily and he walks in.
Surprisingly, the alarm system didn't go off.
In reality, in the main security room with a monitor to observe through every security camera, a woman with long brown hair and eyes killed every security guard on duty silently. She then disables the alarm system.
Afterwards, she shifts her attention to a map pinned on the wall and the monitor. One of the monitors shows a group of pipes pumping water to the rest of the city, another monitor shows the entrance of a vault, and the last shows the inside of the vault.
There are rows of locked drawers and at the end of the vault is a tall safe.
"Mo Gui, to your left, five people ahead." The woman mumbles into a mic hidden in her sleeve.
The big intruder named Mo Gui nods and goes down the corridor to his left.
A group of workers passing by chats with disdain as they complain about the workload. Suddenly, a big hand obstructs their path and instantly rips the head off a person.
!!!
"W-Wha-"
Before the colleagues could react, Mo Gui bash all of them into smithereens by ramming into them, fracturing and throwing all their fragile bodies far.
"Where next?" Mo Gui says.
"Continue forward and turn the corner." says the intruder woman.
The woman guided Mo Gui through the facility until he reaches the vault. Afterwards, she set off to do her task and proceed to the water system room where the pipes are. Using the keycard she stole from a worker she knocked out, she enters the room and pulls out a syringe of green bright liquid from her coat. The room is full of pipes connecting to various places.
*BOOOOOOOOM!*

A loud explosion came from the vault. The woman scratches her head and mumbles "What the fuck is that musclehead doing? I gave him the code for the vault."
She sighs.
Walking on the metal platform, she jumps down to the labyrinth of pipes and follows it to the source: The water tank. Lastly, the intruder slightly dismantles the tank using tools hidden in her pocket and injects the entire green contents from the syringe.
"Huff...alright," she mumbles and gets ready to escape.
But when she turns around, she jumps in shock when she suddenly sees me standing on the platform beside her.
"EEK! W-Who...no...H-How did you..." She stutters. The woman did not sense my presence.
Behind me is a giant full of bruises foaming in his mouth.
She widens her eyes when she realises it is Mo Gui.
"Hm...it is a good idea to spread the virus through water but it is slightly futile when it comes to a Hero City. They installed a filter system that can weaken the virus such that it bears insignificant harm to a strong hero's body." I say.
"Who are you?!" she asks.
I ignore her question and stare at her.
"Don't worry. You are Li Yue, right? Tell me everything you know about the organisation you serve." I say.
Despite having the same goal of annihilating humanity, villains have different ideologies and some conflict with others. I need to deem if they are a threat or not.
However, the moment I take a step toward her, she throws a syringe of the virus at me. I let it hit my body and it automatically pumps the virus inside upon contact.
"Heh..." Li Yue smiles in the delight at her short-lived victory. Yet, nothing happens, I stand completely fine.

"H-Huh...? It should be taking effect?" She mumbles.
I glare at her. The wind gathers around as massive glitters of green are carried upon the hurricane.
Li Yue slowly backs off until her back hits the tank. "Green glitters? Isn't that the virus...what...why is it..." she mumbles.
The wind rapidly shoots into her body through her mouth, ears, and eyes.
"ARGHHHH!!!"
Li Yue drops to the floor shortly after and I infiltrate all her memories.

A group of villains calling themselves "Ghosts" is utilizing my virus to descend hell once again upon the earth. Surprisingly, Li Yue is simply a pawn but she knows that almost every part of society is infiltrated by Ghosts. The reason was that if she was captured and interrogated, she could confess information that is useless and terrifying at the same time. The pool of suspects is too big and that instils fear in everyone including the Hero Association. A smart move indeed.
Now then, their primary objective is to invade the treasure vault for this: a bright glowing blue branch resembling a special wood. The Twilight Stick.

A sudden linkage between me and an old developed virus reconnects when it is near my vessel.
I immediately establish my consciousness inside the virus to see what is going on. The virus is at...the production plant to the west.
I see a young woman in her twenties with brown long hair and eyes. She is wearing a white coat disguising herself as the researcher of the production plant.
With a phone up at her ears, she says "Yes, it's Li Yue here honey. What's up?"
It's a dialogue to hide her conversation with the higher-ups of Ghosts.
"Mo Gui is approaching the city, get ready." The phone replies.
Li Yue's complexion stays the same, she is skilled at her role. "Understood honey, I can probably pack some supper on the way home. Where do I go?" Li Yue says.
A brief silence follows before the person she is calling says "The water system room. Infect the water."
Li Yue smiles brightly. "Alright."
Anyone passing by would think that she was talking to her loving husband.
I stand up and stretch my arms.
"Looks like I can put the week into good use," I mumble.
Something may have happened on the surface. If they are here for the production plant, it may be regarding the treasure vault.
Well, just to be sure, I should intervene and possibly...steal the opportunity.
