Chapter 2: Prologue - II

Galahad got back to his apartment and closed his eyes, yup they were still there he could see the faces and hear the voices of every person he had killed, whether they be targets or simply people in his way he remembered each and every single one of them, but did that mean he would stop no it didn't. He had temporarily rented an apartment in this city to lay low for a while before going back. A small apartment with a room, a small lounge of sorts, a kitchen and a bathroom.

Turning on the Television he gazed at it a bit before throwing his jacket to God knows where and walking to the kitchen and ,making? himself a bowl of cereal he poured himself some milk to go with it and sprawled on the couch looking at the TV which had fucking Dragon Ball Z showing on it. "Ahhhh this is heaven." he said in a low voice looking at screen. He put some cereal in his mouth and ate slowly simply enjoying the feeling of having nothing to do and being lethargic.

He thought about changing the channel, 'Too far.....' he thought looking at the remote before turning to face the other way and sighing, unfortunately his phone rang so he had to get up and go get it. It was his client, "Oh.....just wire the money." but for some reason they insisted on coming over so he just gave them his address, but being cautious he put his jacket on again, he had a fail-safe inside it in case things go the wrong direction.

Almost 15 minutes later his door was knocked on so he got up and walked over to it with a groan, opening it he was met with an old man staring at him with several veins popping out on his head, Galahad smiled, "Be careful....you might pop a vein" the old man stormed in along with two men Galahad presumed to be his bodyguards, "I would offer you a beer.....actually I am offering it, get it from the fridge there." He said pointing at the fridge. All that got him was stern looks.

He raised his hands in surrender, "Alright, Alright just trying to be a good host." walking over he settled on the couch again making a satisfied face he looked at the old man, "umm....my money?" The old man slammed his fist down, "You killed the wrong man." Galahad's eyes widened, "How is that possible?....I spent weeks researching her....plus when I followed her into that club.." He shuddered, "That shit's traumatic! Dude fucks girl in her holes not the other way around!"

The old man angrily stared at him, "What about the man you killed?!" Galahad thought for a bit, "...The witnesses?" a tear dripped from the Old man's eye, "That was my son and grandson!" Galahad in turn stared at him with widened eyes, "I'm sorry for your loss." The old man retorted, "You better be!" Galahad made a cross with his fingers. "And so you'll pay." Galahad quickly raised his hands trying to calm the men who were pointing their pistols at him.

He unzipped his jacket showing them what was inside, a bomb was strapped to it, "Shoot me....we go boom." he slowly said before lazily falling over on the sofa and looking at the three men in front of him with a smile on his face. The old man nodded to his men as both of them nodded back and moved outside the apartment.

He then proceeded to take out a pistol and point it straight at Galahad who was sweating bullets now, "Don't tell me." The old man gave him a solemn nod he was going to have his revenge even if he died for it, Galahad understood that and sighed in defeat before giving him a smile, he was fine his sister could take care of their mother besides all he owned would transfer to them on his death and he was quite proud of the amount of money he had gathered.

His eyes turned serious, "As if!" he grabbed the old man's arm and broke it before taking the pistol from his hand and looking at the wailing geezer who wanted to kill him he wasn't keen on giving up his life like that, he gazed at him again before shooting him in the head, was this guy stupid or something literally sitting in front of a hitman with that frail body.

He got up quickly gathering whatever he needed, the bodyguards could come in any time his head snapped towards the old man as he heard a strange sound coming from him, he chuckled looks like the guy wasn't an idiot after all as the bomb blew up in close proximity to him, it wasn't that heavy didn't even blow his apartment apart just him. His entire right arm and shoulder was missing along with the leg. Of course he wasn't some action film hero so he gripped it in disbelief before falling over and screaming out in pain.

As he lay there dying several thoughts flashed across his mind but there was one thing that was prioritized above all, 'I wish I could have just lazed around some more.'

'Apparently I can hear voices now.' he coughed out some blood, 'Well it's official I die with my name not suiting me at all and me being nowhere near the actual Galahad...sigh'

Galahad's vision blurred, he had died in this world closing his eyes death embraced the young man as he passed from blood loss and internal damage and bleeding. Galahad had left this world not knowing how much grief and sorrow he would cause for those he had left behind.

WITH GALAHAD

Galahad found that he could once more open his eyes and he seemed to be breathing, maybe he had been taken to a hospital as unlikely as it seemed, he had most likely already passed. As if confirming his suspicions as soon as he opened his eyes what greeted him was a vast land, the problem is this land was completely barren. He also seemed to be subconsciously holding something in his left hand. Gazing at it he found it to be a giant-shield in the shape of cross with a circle in the center, it was a mixture of purple and black and seemingly huge it was very light for him.

He also seemed to be wearing some purple armor with a short cloak draped over his shoulders and clothe hanging from his waist down, seemingly covering the dark purple armor below it, at his left side two swords were holstered, one was a sword with a very peculiar sheathe and girdle while the other one was golden and blue in color. Of course he as an FGO fan recognized it all the armor, The Around Round Shield, and the holy swords Arondight and the Sword of David. He gave a wry smile he could almost taste the fucking irony.
