Chapter 99: Hard to resist.

Some small villages near the city were the first to fall, and the humans couldn't do much to defend them, luckily, with the emergency bell the most of people took shelter behind the walls.

Unfortunately, some poor families did not want to leave their land... They were cruelly slaughtered while the humans had to watch from the wall, only being able to shoot their arrows to help.

There were some small units of the kingdom that bravely stayed behind to defend the villages, but after the dead advanced, they had to retreat or die with the people....

The defense was split into different units, which rotated positions as needed.
