Chapter 2: Cat Noir x Civilian! Reader
As Cat Noir patrolled Paris, his eyes spotted a girl about thirty feet away. She was simply going for a walk...with her boyfriend. Cat Noir knew this girl. It was Marinette.
They rounded the corner, heading for the bakery. Cat Noir followed them. He had a small crush on Mari ever since he found out she was Ladybug, but knew he didn't have a chance.
Then, a girl with (H/l), (H/c) hair, (E/c) eyes, and (S/t) skin walked towards Marinette. She was panting. What could be the problem?
"Mari! Thank goodness. I need your help. Adrian's not coming out of his room.", she explained. It was (Y/n), one of Adrien's newest advisors. She just needed the money to get her college stuff paid for, so she could go.
Of course, Cat Noir listened in on this. He felt bad for the girl. It wasn't her fault his dad was forcing him to do four photoshoots tomorrow.
For a brief moment, Cat Noir forgot all about Mari. He didn't care that she had a boyfriend. He was focusing on (Y/n).
She was in his class. She worked so hard, yet she was going through so much. It was like there was no end to her troubles.
Adrien had often tried to tell (Y/n) to take the day off from being his advisor, saying Nathalie was enough. She always ignored him, saying she needed to. Adrien was always asking her questions.
Adrien never really asked Mari questions. He would just flirt with her in his superhero form. He didn't feel anything towards her, actually.
Though, (Y/n) was different. To Adrien, she was perfect. It clicked with Adrien...well, Cat Noir.
He loved (Y/n). Not Mari. It was around (Y/n), did his heart flutter.
Cat Noir jumped down to them, smirk and all. (Y/n) looked at him, eyes wide. Mari and Nathaniel turned to see him too.
"Well, what are two kittens like you doing?", he serenaded. (Y/n) heated from embarrasment, and responded, "Well, umm, nothing much.". Mari just sighed.
Cat Noir looked at Nathaniel, and said, "Now who are you?". Nathaniel was mad. Cat Noir had ruined his date with Marinette.
Cat Noir turned away from Nathaniel, and looked at (Y/n). He had to get time with her.
"I couldn't help but overhear. You're having trouble with this guy not coming out of his room?".
"Umm, yes?".
"Well, I can certainly take care of that. Would you please escort me there?", Cat Noir asked her. (Y/n) nodded her head, and waved to Mari. They bid goodbye, and (Y/n) led Cat Noir to the Agreste Mansion.
On the way, Cat Noir tried striking a conversation with (Y/n). In the end, all he found out was her birthday, age, and favorite color. She tried to keep to herself.
They approached the Agreste Mansion, where they passed through the gate with ease. (Y/n) led Cat Noir to Adrien's room.
This was the time that Cat Noir felt sorry. He made (Y/n) take him all the way to his own room, for nothing. Then, it hit him.
He had known (Y/n) for a long time. They really were close. I think you know where this is going.
(Y/n) knocked on the door, for there to be no response. "Adrien? Come on. I brought someone who wants to see you.", she shouted into the door. She didn't want to open the door, as that would be an invasion of privacy.
Cat Noir took the door handle, and twisted it. It opened, and there was no sign of the said boy. (Y/n) started panicking.
"Where is he?! He, he was right here!", she shouted. Cat Noir grabbed her hand, and led her into the room. She looked around frantically, shouting Adrien's name.
Cat Noir shut the door behind him, and shushed (Y/n). She looked at him, eyes wide in fright. She was scared of where Adrien could be.
Cat Noir said, "(Y/n), I know where he is...Don't worry.". (Y/n) calmed down a little, and looked him right in the eyes. Cat Noir's ring beeped.
(Y/n) knew what that meant. She immediately closed her eyes, just for Cat Noir to cup her face with his hands. "What are you doing?!", (Y/n) shputed at him.
The ring beeped once more, then a green light came from Cat Noir's suit. (Y/n) opened her eyes before his transformation was over. She gasped when she found out what he was doing.
The green light came to his toes, then there stood Adrien. (Y/n) was shocked. She didn't know what to say.
"(Y/n), I'm sorry for what I did. I just didn't like the fact that you were having to keep up with me everyday.", he said.
(Y/n) finally found the words to speak. She sighed, and said, "Adrien, why didn't you tell me sooner? I wouldn't have worried as much.". Adrien's heart broke a little, she was worried about him.
"I didn't want to put you in danger, but now...I won't let anything happen to you.", he responded. (Y/n) didn't know what he was leading to. He still had his hands cupped around her cheeks.
Adrien leaned in, closing his eyes. The gap between them closed as he kissed (Y/n). They stayed like that until they had to part for air.
"(Y/n)...I love you.".
"...".
"I love you too...Kitty.".
