Mophran walked deeper into the lightless stone corridor.

The stone corridor itself, stretched on into the darkness. The rough-hewn walls rose to meet the ceiling far above. The air was heavy with the scent of dust and time. And as Mophran walked, his footsteps echoed off the walls. There was a sense of timelessness, as though the corridor had been there for ages, forgotten by the world outside.

Mophran continued on his path. The seemingly endless darkness of the corridor wasn’t bothering him at all. In fact, he was oddly at peace with the darkness. So, with that, Mophran walked confidently. However, after walking for a while, he came to a sudden stop, and looked ahead.
