He's still mad.
he has not yet vented his anger
"Next" he gave the folder to his secretary.
They're having meetings with the manager and department representative. He needs an update about his company and department updates
"S-sir" the presenter ululated when he didn't let him finish his part. He looked at him sharply and he sat down and fixed his things, he knew that kind of look. He has his family he needs to feed, he doesn't want to lose this job.
They notice that Kier is not in the mood.
The next presenter nervously preparing her things
"Is that the proper way to Present Ms. Tabocio?" He strictly asked that he don't be messy. Tabacio, bend her head as she embarrassed
"Prefer your things before you present and get out!" He hissed. The woman tearfully arranged her belongings and left
"Next proposal"
His secretary gave him the last folder while the reporter fixed his presentation.
He read what's written on the damn paper and he torn it apart and they all gasps
"Are you all grade schoolers?!" He massaged his temple.
Everyone there bowed and feared him. "I fvcking said I followed the format that I provided!" He shouted!
He's venting his anger at his employee. “And the way you present is not appropriate. Did you all prepare? You all like to rush your reports!”
He looked at his secretary who was just standing beside him “Heidi, schedule my meeting with the investor," he told..
"Sir, we followed the format that you 've provided," said one of them.
"Talk back and you're fired" he warned the last man standing.
Earlier they had scolded him. Everyone there is sauteed and one is embarrassed. I think they were called to reprimand.
He's having a headache with their reports and the format of the written report didn't meet his standards.
"Heidi, did you inform them well?" Kier, turned his attention to his secretary
"Uh, U-uh. Yes, S-sir" she's nervous can't look straight to her boss
"All of you get out!" he roared as he massaged his forehead. He’s just tutoring himself if he continues this meeting! What employees he has!.
"MIA, WHO'S WITH YOU?" I asked my friend, Mia. She's here.
Suddenly she seems to be here.
I don't know why he's here. I was just coming down the stairs when suddenly someone rang the doorbell.
She held my hand "Frenny, can we stay here for a while?" She asked gently and she awkwardly smiled at me.
I look at the woman and she's smiling at me and I smile back.
I nodded "Hmm. I asked Ken first" because this is not my house even though we're married I won't take this as mine since this is just an arranged marriage. I need his permission too
She held my hand tightly. She seemed suddenly alert and nervous. "Please, tell him not to tell Lee, that n-I'm here" She bit my lower lip. I looked at him curiously.
"Do you two have a problem?" I hesitate to ask. I don't want to interfere but I sense something is not right? I guess?
"Uhmm. A-ah ... Eh, yeah, we have to fight again. I don't want to see his face!" He sighed as he remembered what had happened. "he's an asshole!" She's Annoyed.
If they both have a problem why is she with a friend where I'm here? Maybe, the two of them talk as if I'm out of it.
"By the way" he pulled me closer to the woman with him who was smiling at me until now
"She's Yunnie. Yunnie, this is Selena, my friend since grade school" she introduced.
"Hello" she said and smiled at me widely, I didn't have any bad impression on her, she also waved her hand at me. friendly, huh..
"Hmm. Have you had dinner yet??" I asked them. I just woke up and I'm hunger
"Call your husband first, so we'll know if we can stay here" Mia
I called Ken. He didn't pick up my first call and I called him again
He answered the call and I heard him sighed. "Yes, Wife?" He calmly asked. Is he having a bad day? I sense on his voice, he's stress and tired
"Hi. Hmm. Mia, is here" I looked at Mia "She's with her friend, can they stay here?" They looked at me as they were also waiting for an answer.
"Yeah, sure" he answered quickly and didn't even ask, sure he answered right away.
I frowned, the speed with which he agreed without question.
I'm about to end the call when he asks me. "Have you eaten?" I heard him snuff.
"I just woke up"
I heard his secretary in the other line telling him about work.
"Okay, can you wait for me? I'm having a meeting with investor, I'll buy dinner"
"I'm hungry" I told him the truth
"Yeah, I know, I'll end this very quickly. Wait for me, Wife. I wasn't able to cook before I left" yeah, he cooks here at home sometimes he just delivers when he doesn't have time to cook .
"Can you buy me umh." I pulled my cell phone away from me and covered the speaker and looked at the two. They still don't take it off and look at me and it looks like they've been waiting for an answer for a while.
"Do you want to buy something? Or to eat? For Ken to go with you, for dinner. Because there is no food here" we're out of stock and I haven't go to grocery
"No, We're fine," Yunnie answered.
I looked at Mia, if she wanted something. She just smiled at me as she got what I meant in my "We're fine" I just nodded and went back to the call.
"I want Buko Salad and roast chicken" I replied
"Okay, that's all?" He asked again
"Yeah, bye!" I ended the call.
"What he says?" Mia asked immediately.
I thumbs up "It's fine" I answered and Mia giggled
"Brother Kier is really kind, you're lucky to be your husband!!" She flipped my hair.
"You two suit well," I sat down in front of them and turned on the TV.
"I'm sorry, there's not much food here so we can eat later"
Mia looked at Yunnie "I told you" he shouldered it "She's kind" she winked at her
"It's fine, Selena, 'We are not hungry yet."
"Yunnie, did you know that we're back on college she have crush on her husband" my cheeks turn red
"Heh! not him but to his best friend, Bryden" I corrected her.
Ken is from another school, and they went to our school one time because our school and their sports school had a fight. I can't remember what sports it was and they won. Even our school mate cheered for them. Yuniie, laughed as if she find it funny and cute
"Yeah! you have a crush on both of them!" she revealed "Speaking of Bryden!" She exclaimed "I never saw him. He's not with brother Kier?" They're friends.
"I don't know." I shrug "I haven't seen him after they graduated" they're in 4th year that time while we're freshmen.
"You're cute" Yunnie referred to me, and Mia slapped her, and her eyes hurt so Yunnie laughed and hugged the other. They're too sweet.
"Sorry, Mia is talkative,'' Yunnie, apologized while laughing.
She's teasing Mia, they seem too close, more than us.
"I know, just like Layla," I replied.
We talked a lot more and we didn't realize that Ken had arrived, bringing our dinner.
