"Alright, Weaselette, why am I here?" I asked, bored.
She sighed and hopped off a table, "It's about time!"
I shrugged, "Well, maybe you should be more specific than just 'Tonight. Library'! I mean, I could've came at 11:59:59 and I would still be on time."
She rolled her eyes.
"Sit down," She said, sliding into a seat. I sighed and pulled out the chair across from her. "Am I getting the 'don't hurt her' lecture."
She thought for a minute, then shook her head, "No, I'll leave that one to Harry."
I gulped.
She studied me.
I withered under her stare, "Would you stop?"
She sighed, "I'm just trying to figure it out."
I frown, "What?"
She sighed, "Why you two get along."
I laughed, "You know, there are some similarities between Slytherins and Gryffindors."
She raised her eyebrows at me, "Oh yeah?"
I nodded, "Well, give me an example of something a Gryffindor would do and what a Slytherin would do."
She frowned, then nodded, "Alright," She grinned, "If you make a Gryffindor mad and they storm out on you, they'll get a lot of satisfaction out of slamming the door behind them." She paused.
"But Slytherins, they'd leave it wide open."
I frowned in confusion.
She grinned, "Because they'll get the most satisfaction knowing they made you get up and close it." She finished with a grin.
I laughed, "I guess that is way to describe it."
"But we're similar because we're both stereotyped. They think that everyone that's a 'good guy' goes into Gryffindor. And everyone who is a 'bad guy' goes into Slytherin."
She shrugs, "Yeah, I guess."
"Malfoy, do you love her?" She asked.
The question caught me off guard. I mean, I knew she was going to ask that, I just didn't expect it to be that blunt.
"I-" I sighed, "Yes. I do."
She grinned.
"What?"
She shook her head, "Nothing. I just love seeing you so vulnerable."
I glared at her.
"You asking her, right?" She asked.
I sighed, "Yes."
She grinned, "Good. Well, I guess my job is complete," She said, grabbing her bag and walked out of the library.
I sighed, I've gotta get Granger out of my head.
