Chapter 124: The Chaos

"Neal, are you okay?"

Hellion waved his hand in front of the vampire, grabbing his attention. He noticed that after Neal came back from making groceries, he's very quiet.

The vampire turned his head to the right. "Yes? Do you need something?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You look quiet," Hellion said, grabbing a bag of chips from the paperbag which was immediately caught by Doctor Ava slapping Hellion's hands away.

"What do you mean? I'm always like this. Do I have to be loud while thinking about something?" Neal asked, crossing his arms.

He didn't know too but those words he heard from Braedel gave him something that he would not expect him to think. There was something in there that impacted him and he wanted to know more. Hearing that Braedel had so many things he wanted to say to him by willing to make a temporary alliance.
