Chapter 13: Chapter 13 Under the rain.

Still in her thin strap satin gown, Mira was continually dragged along the ground of Divaria Palace. They had driven all the way from Hotel Alvarez to the palace and right now it seemed like there was no escape route for her. No matter how she tried to struggle and escape from their tightening grip, there was still no way she could release herself. Even if she tried to escape, where exactly would she be running to? Her father who always acted like her backbone was nowhere to be found now -- the old man was still lying sick at home and was unable to do anything for her at that time.

Just before the entrance into the palace building, the guards let go of her hand and there they stood waiting... Waiting for no one but Alvarez. Mira took a good look at the people around her -- there was no one she could recognize. She already knew that the men that brought her to the palace were Alvarez's men and none of her people were there.
