Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Mock Battle
Taking our suits we went to the changing room. On the way everyone was excited to put on their new suit that will be their base model after they become a pro hero.
Reaching the changing room I started to change quickly, the boys followed suit too.
My hero suit was white with gold finishing, and also I had a golden mask which had a HUD, Communicator, radar etc and also there is the symbol of sun on my chest. Donning my suit, I looked at myself in the mirror and nodded as the suit had a sleek design and I liked it very much.
As I was the first one to change, I went out first and the boys followed one by one as they finished wearing their suits.
Walking a bit forward we met with the girls. Everyone has the same costume as in the anime and seeing Momo in her outfit made Denki lose a little bit of blood from his nose. But no one noticed that at all, except for me, Krishima, and Jiro.
As for me, I was looking at Toru, this is the first time I'm seeing a girl fully naked in this life. Because of the mask, my red face wasn't seen by anyone. We started to walk towards the testing site with Bakugo and Iida while the rest followed them from behind.
I just slowly went towards Toru and spoke to her in a small voice so that whatever I said could only be heard by her "Hagakure, next time please wear a cloak."
Hearing that she had a puzzling look and asked me "Why?"
"Because, you're naked and I can see you clear as day."
When she heard that she froze on the spot, then looked at me and started to stutter "Wh-t-h-h-"
"I didn't know that your hero costume would be nothing but boots and glows. So, I'm sorry."
After saying that I discreetly called Momo "Yaoyorozu."
Momo came towards me as I called her and asked "What is it?"
"Can you make a cloak that could cover Hagakure?"
"That's possible." Saying that she created a black cloak and offered it to Toru, but she was still frozen on the spot and stuttering.
So I took the cloak from Momo's hands and draped it over Toru's shoulder. When she felt the cloak she hurriedly held it tightly and started to blush.
Momo who saw all this asked me "So you can see her?"
I nodded at her, and walked forward, Toru and Momo closely following behind me. While walking I saw Toru glancing at me from time to time and Momo was walking right besides Toru.
Soon we reached our destination, and All Might was there. He praised us for our cool costumes then he explained how this mock battle will be done and made teams of two at random.
Team A Izuku and Ochako
Team B Mezo and Shoto
Team C Momo and Jōichirō
Team D Bakugo and Iida
Team E Mina and Ayoama
Team F Koji and Rikido
Team G Denki and Kyoka
Team H Fumikage and Tsuyu
Team I Masahiro and Toru
Team J Hanta and Ejiro.
I ended up with Momo as Team C, so I went near her and said "Let's do well."
"Let's do well." She replied with a smile. I also saw Toru sighing in relief, for what it was for I don't know. Maybe because she was relieved that she wasn't paired up with me.
After the teams were selected All Might took two balls from different boxes and got A and D. 'So just like the manga and anime, both of them are going to fight.'
As they were called fort for the first mock battle they went to the area assigned to them and the rest of us went to the control center to observe their match.
As shown in the anime, Katsuki and Izuku duked it out with each other and Ochako, using the opportunity, took the nuclear bomb in her hand.
After that Izuku was sent to the nurse's office and All Might declared Iida as the MVP of the match. Then he asked us why Iida is the MVP, for this Momo volunteered and said more than All Might have thought about. After that battle, the building was changed and Team B as heroes and Team I as the villains took the stage. After Mezo gave the information about the enemy team, Shoto just froze the whole building, winning the battle easily.
After a couple of matches All Might called "Next battle will be between Team C as the villains and Team G."
So Momo and I walked into the building after wishing luck to Denki and Kyoka.
After reaching a room that is suitable to place the bomb I looked around and asked Momo "We got some time, you got any plans?"
"Well I was thinking of making iron beams and block out the door while you defeat them."
"So, an attack and defense strategy instead of an all out attack. I like it." I nodded at her.
As the buzzer went off I told her "Then I'll be off."
"Good luck."
"Thanks." Thanking her, I went out of the room and she sealed it shut using iron beams.
With a light jog I started to go down where both Denki and Kyoka are located. How did I find them? Well I had built in radar in my mask, plus I could sense their bio energy from the direction where I'm going now.
As I reached there, I saw Denki in the front and Kyoka behind him. Seeing me Denki smiled and said "No hard feelings man."
Right after saying that he shot electricity towards me to incapacitate me.
Smiling at him I said "No hard feelings, Kaminari."
Hearing that he was puzzled at first, but what happened next drained the color from his face. As I absorbed the electricity and augmented it with my reserve energy to make it more powerful but non lethal to living beings and shot it towards both of them at the same time from my hands.
Denki absorbed the electricity as soon as it reached him, but before he could relax, my fist connected his jaw and he lost consciousness.
As Denki fell down like a puppet that got its strings cut, I looked at Kyoka. She was wide eyed as she didn't see me moving from my position at first. But she quickly connected her ear plugs to the speaker on her legs and blasted it towards me with max power.
I absorbed it too without any effort and punched her in the jaw, the same way I dealt with Denki.
As soon as they lost consciousness All Might spoke "Team C villains win."
Hearing this I nodded and went back towards Momo. But before I reached where she was, I saw her coming towards me with a smile. Looking at me she said "Good work."
I returned the smile and also said "Good work. Shall we wake them up now?"
"Yes, let's do that."
Agreeing to it, I woke up both Kyoka and Denki using the sound energy I absorbed earlier. As they woke up while holding their jaws and giving me stink eyes, we went back to where the monitoring was done.
