" Uncle, will I see my father again?"
Young Prince Eketin tugged Klein's pants. The mage who sealed his father was a figure of dad to him and there was no family besides him in this world. He felt lonely and sad because his mother was nowhere here to hug him or his father who would teach him a sword. He felt envious of other children despite his great talent.
" Someday, Eketin. We will all come back to our home and live on this land happily."
Klein put the young boy on his shoulders, walking towards the boat that was filled with survivors. They knew they had to leave their home and they would return someday, so they burned the image one last time in their minds.
" Umm, I understand. I will become the greatest leader and bring my people back home."
Eketin smiled like a sun. His innocent and pure eyes were the only remedy that kept him going in this world.
The man closed his book, looking at the young children who were sleeping soundly under the dim light. He carefully walked towards the window and leaped out with a single jump.
" Kuhaha! Finally, I can have some fun."
Agam laughed with happiness in his tone. During the day he helped the citizens and during the evening he took care of the children, so there was little time for him to have fun.
As the man with the most handsome face in the city, Agam never backed down from scoring and he was a famous scoundrel or a brat in elders' eyes. Even so, they close their eyes because his heart is pure except for his mischievous side.
" Woo-hoo! Here I come ladies. Prepare your company and make up your faces."
He sang loudly in the air, jumping roof to roof without any sweat. His golden turban reflected the street lights and his shining eyes were free of any burden.
" Agam! You rascal! How many times do I have to tell you to quiet down? Besides, stop destroying my rooftops. They are expensive you know!"
The old man shouted from his window, halting his movements for a second. The wind blew to his face with a slight taste of salt. He extended his hands to feel the caress of the wind and the smell of the desert and the ocean.
This was his hometown. Port City of Akusan- Ur. The home of the freedom seekers and travelers who wanted to broaden their horizons.
The lights illuminated the streets, showing busy streets filled with travelers. Many people laughed in this city because this city was blessed by the minor gods. They were more ancient than the current main gods and they helped people without any demand. Thus, many people worship them here.
" Hmm, let's see. Oh, new ship."
Agam jumped down from the roof, fixing his hair with excitement. He took out a bottle of perfume from his and applied it on his clothes.
" Let's see. As expected my hunch was right. A beautiful lady."
Agam pretended it be a guide as he approached the group. He saw the beautiful faces of the ladies and went on strike while the iron was hot.
" Well hello there. My name is Agam and I am a native of this city. Can I get your names, ladies?"
He asked politely, bowing his head to the ladies. Surprisingly, the women burst out with laughter because they found this funny. As soldiers, they had to visit other countries in either uniform or casual clothes to indicate their goals, so they chose casual clothes to blend in and they found a man who clearly wanted to hang out with them in this land where people are quite shy.
" Wow, this is interesting. Licht, are you hearing this? He is asking our names."
Lisha nudged the young man beside him. His platinum hair and blue eyes instantly caught Agam's attention since he looked like a noble.
" Well, it is your choice, Lisha. By the way, if you are wondering these ladies are good to accompany you, pal, Yeah you will have a rough night. Right, cap?"
Licht smiled at Regina who was minding her business. She raised her head to scan Agam and sighed with helplessness.
