Perhaps, this triggered Regina's switch as she gave up negotiating with them due to their insufficient manpower.
" Fine, we will cooperate with you because our interest is the same, but you must guarantee our safety in your territory. Who knows what other tribes will do?"
She said with a sharp gaze. Her words hit the soft spot of Greia as she struggled to answer back. It was the truth that the northerns hated the kingdom soldiers. Especially since they were in constant dispute over their territory. Not just Stormwind kingdom wasn't their enemy, they were a large interest that have been brewing inside this large frozen land.
" Hmm, I will guarantee your safety. However, you must also withdraw your scouts. I know you are scouting around my area."
Greia said while grinning. She already felt prying eyes even before their arrival. Her instincts never missed something like this. Furthermore, her daughter was an exceptional ranger that could spot any living beings a few kilometers zone. She signaled there were a few unknown people in her territory.
" We will do that. We were just being cautious. You can understand that, right?"
The captain said while folding his arms. His armors crackled under his movements.
" I like your attitude. You are a strong male too. Are you interested in having a child with me?"
Greia teased him with a peal of laughter. Even though she was muscular, she had the charm of a northern woman and her face didn't have any wrinkles, freckles, or acne. She was a gorgeous woman in every aspect, but she wasn't young.
" My name is Sean. I am a captain of the special squadron of Blue Lions."
Sean said while frowning at her remark.
" Excuse him. He has a wife and a son in his home."
Regina spoke while reminding him to calm down. She saw no reason to be angry at her teasing.
" Hmm, Sean could you come to me?"
Greia said while creasing her eyebrows. Sean walked towards her with puzzlement because he was already confused by his sudden outburst.
" As expected, those little guys."
Greia said while chanting magic on him. A little circle appeared on his neck which was
" Tsk* Those little guys. Snow spirits are everywhere around here. They love teasing others."
Greia said with annoyance on her face. She was sick of being pranked by these invisible creatures. Fortunately, as an iceborn she could interact with the spirits which had ice attributes.
" Spirits? So, that is why I have been feeling strange since entering this hut."
Sean said while scanning around him. He already knew these creatures prior to this event, but he hadn't met them for a while because snow spirits hated fortresses and cities.
Meanwhile on the hill.
Mikael was looking at the settlement with Daemon.
" Why did you leave Leah behind?"
He frowned while questioning his decision. He felt it was too immature action. He criticized his behavior since it was immoral for him.
" Sheesh, she is an assassin. She can survive in this field. Besides, we have guests."
Daemon said while grabbing his sword. He turned around and saw a group of trolls in their field. They wore animal hides on their muscular bodies. Moreover, they had giant maces and their faces were covered with red paint which indicated their aggressive sides.
" Humans!"
They growled with deep voices. Their giant eyes were focused on the bodies of Mikael and Daemon.
" Sigh* Daemon, let's kill them before they make noise."
Mikael sighed while drawing his bow. Daemon nodded at his words with a grin and rushed towards them without any fear or whatever.
Roar*
The trolls roared at them with rage and excitement. They were eager to shred these humans and drink their blood to bathe in their glory. However, they didn't know something and that was they were against two monsters who could destroy any troll warriors without others' help. They were proud advanced-level fighters.
Bang*
The leading troll bashed his mace down. He grinned while thinking about his enemy's blood and flesh under his mace.
" Are you looking for me?"
Daemon said while blocking his mace on his hand. He pulled the troll and inserted his sword in his chest.
Thud*
The troll felt absolute terror as he fell to eternal sleep.
