Alden laughed.

"I made that song specifically for you."

"Are you kidding me?"

"You don't like it?"

<Host, come look at what I've found!>

Rei closed the old book and placed it on the same spot. He walked towards the PC and saw a picture and detailed information.

He saw the picture who looked similar with the big photo near stair case.

<Apparently, he was connected with other drug dealers before. However, before the case was taken further, the investigation was discontinued.> Rei read the detailed information.

<Then not long after, my innocent father was put into jail. Don't you think something is fishy?> Rei frowned his brows.

Rei skimmed through the data.

<Hah! As long as I remember, this father of mine never have any connection with that drug dealer. They even despised each other!>

Rei referred to the X District mafia which infamous for their drug activities. However, this syndicate was unapproachable. Even it was issued that many police chiefs were their accomplices.

<So, Levin's father was appointed to be the chief not long after charging my father for something he didn't do? What a joke!>

Rei somehow furious. Maybe there's some remaining emotion from the owner's body which possessed him.

After transferring all the needed information, Rei asked the System to remove any traces. Then they got out of the room and locked it.

"Where were my subordinates? It's already one hour, and they hasn't arrived, yet?"

Rei grumbled and called the number.

"Hey, where were you?"

A static, then Rei heard a whispered.

"Boss, something urgent was coming! Polices were surrounding our place. You'd better hide out in that house for awhile after everything was safe."

"But, why? Aren't they already caught the leader?"

"I'm not sure, but I heard this has something to do with the X District mafia. Young Boss, take care."

Then Rei heard a shouting and the called disconnected.

"These bastards! I'll take revenge!"

<Host, what's wrong?>

<25 days.>

<Then, I should resort with violence!>

Rei walked towards the stairs.

<Host, please don't be reckless. They are real mafia. We should plan everything well.>

<Right.> Rei stopped on his track.

Rei thinking hard.

<I'm sorry, what?>

<That's a good idea, host!>

<So, maybe we could try.>

He dig in his memory of the places in which his father was accused to do the transaction. It was in C City, near X District. That day, his father was meeting with old friend to talk about business. They met in a big underground club. At that time, his father should have been tricked.

Rei walked down the stairs and saw Levin in front of the front door.

"You're home early?" Rei surprised.

"Yes, something comes up. Wanna take a morning stroll?"

"I've got something urgent to do." Rei tried to refuse.

"I'll buy you delicious food."

"I'm still full."

"Then I'll take you to the police headquarters."

"Why?"

<I'm not sure, Host.>

"I'll show you around." Levin answered calmly. He put his backpack down and took off his shoes.

"Wait for me changing the clothes. We come there as the civil anyway." Levin walked passed Rei and brushed his shoulder.

<Why? As the civil? Is he planning something?>

<Host, what will you do?>

Between his turmoil, someone patted his back.

"Ready?"

Levin with casual grey t-shirt and blue jeans smiled towards Rei.

"Ugh.. can I say no?"

"Come on, it will be fun."

Levin pulled Rei's hand and walked towards the door.

<Host, be careful!>

The car stopped in the intersection. Traffic light showed red. Along the 10 minutes ride, both people were busy with their own mind.

"Tell me about your father?" Rei broke the silence.

"What about my father?" Levin glanced.

"He was just promoted, right?"

"Yes." Levin nodded his head.

"So, he should be a real good policeman."

<Host, you're cursing.>

"I'm not sure if he was good or not. What I know is he's quite ambitious."

"He just caught a mafia leader, right?"

"That infamous Andy? Yes, he caught him."

Rei silenced for a while.

"In which jail was he located?"

"I believe that's in the X District police station."

"Why do you ask?" Levin turned his head. Rei just smiled.

Levin saw the traffic lamp changed into green, then pressed the pedal.

"Isn't HQ for important people? Will we be allowed to enter?"

"We'll just have some fun in the lounge, or eat the food. It's quite delicious."

Levin paused.

"I've got the ID card, so don't worry."

"You bribe me with free food?"

Levin laughed.

"What else? I'm broke, anyway. Having some luxury in free is tempting, right?"

Rei guffawed.

"Yes.. yes.. whatever you say."

Thirty minutes drive passed until they arrived in front of a huge building. The HQ consist of three of 15th levels buildings. Levin reached the security post then showed his ID. After checking it for awhile, the security gave salutation, then let them through.

Levin maneuvered his car into the underground parking lots. He took the nearest empty spot near the entry door, then turned off the engine.

"Let's go."

Rei looked hesitant for awhile, then hardened his heart. He nodded, unlock his seatbelt, then got off.

At the entry door, the security checked Levin's ID, then again, saluted. Levin nodded his head.

"This friend is with me." Levin pulled Rei towards him.

The security checked Levin and Rei, then allowed them to pass the security door. They passed the checking process smoothly, then entered the lift into the lounge in the Level 1 floor.

"The security is tight in here." Rei glanced at the CCTV above them.

Levin chuckled.

"Of course. Them the boards are quite paranoia. But I understood. Their life is in danger and could be killed anytime"

Rei nodded.

"They got many enemies."

"Of course they did."

Ding.

The lift opened to a huge open space. Some people in black suits passed by.

Levin pulled Rei's hand and lead him towards the receptionist settled in the middle of the big area.

"Good morning, sir Levin. What can I do for you?" The beautiful receptionist stood up and bowed to Levin politely. She showed her sweet smile.

"She's beautiful." Rei unconsciously whispered.

The beauty just laughed it off.

"Thank you, young sire."

Levin ignored him and continued talking with the receptionist.

"Is police chief in his office."

"Let me check it for awhile."

She typed in his PC in front of him.

"The chief director is having a meeting right now. Maybe you want to wait?"

"Yes, I'll wait. Thank you."

Levin pulled Rei's arm. Rei turned his head then winked at the receptionist. She blushed.

They then took a seat on the couches near the lift.

"I should go for awhile. Don't fooling around and wait for me in here."

Rei nodded his head.

"Sure."

Levin smiled and stroked his head, then walked towards the lift.

Ten minutes passed when Rei saw the mafia from District X walked out of the lift and walked towards the exit door. Rei stood up in disbelief.

<Host, calm down. Don't be reckless.> The System reprimanded him.

He tighten his fist then relaxed his knuckles.

Rei approached the receptionist again.

"What can I do for you, sir?"

"I'm one of the fresh policeman, and I was assigned to tidy up the CCTV tapes."

The receptionist looked at him in pity. There is a huge pile of CCTV tapes in HQ, accounted with hundreds of installed CCTV in each building.

"Do you mind to tell me where's the tapes were stored?"

The receptionist gave him the direction. The room was located in the back of this main building. She looked for the keys, then handed them to him.

"Thank you, Miss." Rei showed his best smile.

"I'll do my assignment then. I'll give the keys when I finished."

"Don't worry, that room is stranded, anyway. You can give the keys anytime when you finished."

"Then, I'll take my leave, beautiful." Rei smooth talked her. She giggled.

Rei walked towards the same spot as before then took a seat.

<Let's check the CCTV tonight.>
