Chapter 3: Calm before the storm
'don't you feel it's weird that even tho we blocked off that section of the ship it was a little too easy to stop those damn things?' an old man said as he fixed his hat with a suspicious tone before looking above towards a vent before shooting into it and seeing nothing come out.
'Or maybe it's just this old man getting old.' he stated to himself before looking back down at his keyboard.
'Dumb geezer.' Leo stated before he moved through the vent above being followed by two drone aliens. Leo has worked hard, even tho he made his presence known. He cleared out a section of the ship and got more space for his hive.
But what Leo was interested in was that he heard the last of the crew which was around 300 people talking about what if the other alien breaks out. It sparked Leo's interest so now he is heading there to see what exactly it is and he brought his drones with him for a little extra help.
He looked down on a vent to see a lot of tubes that held the living matter and other species that were in a state of stasis. Leo took off the vent cover and dropped down into the room along with the two drones.
"Oh. These... Are not xenomorphs. " Leo stated as he walked around with the two drones. One that he felt repulsed by and not even that he had the strange urge to kill it had the word 'the thing' labeled on its tube casing
No matter how much he looked at it gave off vibes as if it would be his doom. And no matter how much he looked around he didn't see any xenomorphs in stasis. 'Saddening but it did give us knowledge.' Leo said within his head before turning around after sensing some steps and vibrations he heard multiple clicking sounds.' guns! FUCK!'
Leo and the drones broke open the bar under the floor that lead to a sewer-line system and they climbed in when the people opened the door all they saw was a long white tail swaying back and forth before going onto the floor.
They looked at the hole on the floor with the gun before another hole busted out of the floor behind them. The two drones grabbed two guys before Leo used his tail to grab two and cacoon them together before bringing them down and dragging them slowly through the sewer like water to the hive.
Once they reached the hive it was just a room that had used to look man-made and now had otherworldly designs and swirls them. The roof was completely broken down and it lead to the old hive that was still in use. Leo just expanded it a bit after he got some new space.
A neomorph walked by them and sat an egg sack down before walking towards a vent and climbing into it. 'Sometimes he makes me uncomfortable with how fluent he walks. Like some type of thug or something,' Leo thought as he watched the neo morph crawl into the vent towards the back of the ship was
Leo now went from looking like an albino xenomorph to his head having some grooves to it and bumps some parts had spikes and along his tail, he has jagged sharp sickle-like protrusions. And his back looks slightly different than the normal xenomorph spines
The people squirmed as facehuggers wrapped around their heads and the last guy had gotten eggs put down his throat by Leo himself but these eggs were special. He wanted to experiment a bit with different xenomorphs so that when they hatch, will be a lot more different from the average xenomorph.
'Next week they think they will simply just land! Heh, it won't be that easy dick heads' Leo said as he patted a royal face hugger that was next to him.
