Chapter 27: Whitebeard as a teacher

After some time Logan woke up. As he opens his eyes. He finds the back of Shirahoshi. He still doesn't have much clarity about the situation he is in but after finding Shira in front of he genuinely smiles. He really starts loving this mermaid the more time he spends with her. After gaining some clarity he hears laughter in a heavy voice. He finds that Whitebeard is talking with Shira about some of his experiences about pirating. Whitebeard is trying hard to state facts about how a pirate can be good but Shira just counters Whitebeard with the dark logic that he taught her. He is proud of his teaching after hearing how Shira counters Whitebeard.
He internally laughs at Whitebeard's misery to convince Shira. He focuses away from their talk and starts examining the surrounding. He looks around and finds that he is on the island not on Moby Dick. He sighs in relief seeing that. He understands that Whitebeard wants to talk to him alone which is why they are here. There chance that things go according to his plan. He knows that this is the last hurdle he needs to deal with to get what he wanted. He uses this time when no one is focused on him to reconfirm his plan. After doing that he start the much-awaited end of the show.
He groans slightly to make them know that he is up. Hearing his voice both Whitebeard and Shira stop speaking. Shira hurriedly turns and picks him up in her large hand. She starts crying after seeing him. She speaks in a wobbly tone.
"Waaaa, Logan you are alright, right? Why are you so stubborn if something happens to you what will then I do? You know how worried I was. waaaaa"
He is genuinely surprised at Shira's ability to cry. Just a few sec ago she was talking to Whitebeard. Suddenly she starts forming a river out of her tears. He hurriedly jumps at Shira's head and starts patting it. He apologized to her.
"I am sorry Shira, I promise I will not take this kind of life-threatening risk in the future."
"You really promise me not to do it again right."
"Yup I will never make you worried. So please stop crying."
Hearing his promise Shira stop crying. On the side, Whitebeard is watching all of this with interest. Whitebeard is impressed with Logan about how easily he handles Shira. Seeing Shira stop crying Whitebeard decided to interrupt these 2 and speak.
"Hmm, So brat you are up. I thought it will take a few days before you get up, Guraraa"
Hearing Whitebeard Logan just awkwardly smiles. Shira stares at Whitebeard in anger. Seeing her like that Whitebeard stop laughing. Logan finds it quite interesting that Whitebeard stops seeing Shira's anger. Logan speaks to Whitebeard.
"Sorry for annoying you, mister Whitebeard. Thank you that you do not harm me or my partner. I will stop annoying you from today. We will just leave this place to find someone else to train us."
He fakes a sorry expression. Logan's all four limbs are still in bad condition which makes him look more miserable. He slides back to Shira's hand and then speaks to her.
" Sorry Shira because of me you also have to go through all this. I promise that We will definitely find someone who can train us to become strong. We definitely achieve our dream."
He has some crocodile tears coming out of his eyes. seeing him like that Shira Panic, she speaks.
"No Logan it's not your fault. I believe in you you do not have to cry."
Logan continues to apologize to her and Whitebeard while shedding crocodile tears. See him like that Tears start forming in Shira's eyes. This scene makes Whitebeard panic he shouted at Logan.
"Brat listen to me and please for pirate's sake stop shredding those tears."
Hearing Whitebeard's panicked voice Logan stop crying and looked toward Whitebeard with a puppy look. he is using all the unique weapons a small child of his age could have. Whitebeard is shocked by the development. He is ready to take Logan as his student but he wants to act as someone hard to approach. But seeing Logan and Shira look he knows that he lost to this kid in this round.
Seeing both Logan and Shira's looks he starts laughing loudly.
"gurarrararararaarar"
He looked toward Logan and said.
"Well done, I am genuinely impressed with you. You want to become strong right? I will teach you. I do not what you will do with that strength but I feel teaching you will definitely be something interesting."
Logan smile and speak in happiness.
"Really teacher you will teach me right. You will not go back to your words."
"Gurarra, brat you already start calling me teacher. Yeah, I want to see how far you will reach in the future. Which path do you choose with this strength."
Logan turned toward Shira and shouted to her in happiness.
"Shira we made it. We made the old man my teacher. hahahahah"
Shira who has tears in her eye stop that she also starts laughing after Logan.
"hehehehhehe, Logan you are best. You have done what you said to me."
Whitebeard is shocked by this sudden mood swing of both children. But he confirm that he gets played by these 2. He is a little angry but not at the two children in front of them but at himself. He thought to himself.
'I am the world's strongest person and I get played by these two brats. It is such a shame. I will teach them a good lesson in the future.' He also has a smile on his face after seeing the happiness of Shira and Logan. Seeing them like this he remembers his own journey. Once he was also like these guys.
He still does not grasp the full intention and nature of Logan but he knows that as long as he is alive there will be no harm come to his crew and he does not care about what trouble these brats will cause to others. Along with them he also starts laughing out loudly.
