Chapter 23: The secret

Gorilla attacked again.
Its attack was fast so Xu Luli could only block it this time.

Her sword met with Gorilla's arm. But Xu Luli was confused after the attack.
Because the attack didn't have that much power.
So she only stepped backward two or three steps.
"Why is its attack weak?" she thought.
"Watch out!" She heard Huan's voice.
Suddenly White Eye Gorilla turn its back to her and placed its arms on the ground.
Then it attacked with its legs like how a horse would kick with its feet.
This caught her off guard, and she placed her sword vertically so attack speed would have a little decrease in its power.
~Shatter!
Her sword shattered into three pieces from the power of attack but the attack hadn't stopped yet.
~Clang! ~Puf!
Xu Luli was blown away by the impact.
She landed on the ground and rolled up one to three times.
Surprisingly, she didn't receive an injury that would hinder her movements or make her unable to fight.
They were only light injuries.
Then she looked around to see where was Huan.
She heard his voice and thought he was gonna save her.

Then she saw him.
He was fighting with the other three monsters.
It seems that those monsters wanted to attack them while they were busy fighting with the White Eye Gorilla.
Fortunately, Huan was able to sense it so he engaged in a fight with them.
However, Huan was having a difficult time fighting three beasts at the same time.
The beast group was a group of Yellow Fox wild beasts.
Two of them were in fourth grade and their alpha was a 5th-grade wild beast.
Their situation was a lot worse than fighting against an alone spirit beast.

They saw a young man that was around 16-17 years old walking toward them.

So it howled and attacked the young man with its claws.

The young man mocked the alpha beast.

The young man said and attacked with his sword.

And the Alpha Yellow Fox landed on the ground… Dead…

The young man looked at the source of the voice…
It was the voice of Huan.
