Chapter 12: Adam II
Adam was already cleaning the dishes when holbert came back home.
" What took you so long?", Adam asked as soon as he saw holbert.
Holbert recalled the incident that happened.

Holbert had took them to a mall to change their clothes as the other two was dressed in weird looking clothes and that could only draw attention to them.
"What was all that about?", holbert had asked as soon as him and his sister were left alone.
"What?", chloe tried playing dumb, looking for a probably little clue to tell holbert and make him keep quiet about it, cause she was sure that Lizzie could end him if he spilled out any word to people.
"That thing that happened at the dumbster silly", holbert said holding his waist like a woman.
"Ohh that. It... complicated", chloe said trailing her fingers together, she always does this when she was anxious or confused.
"you got to say something. Because you were lost for a few days and then you suddenly came out from a portal with two strange.....", just then Alex was seen wearing his new shoes differently.
"Hey, this feels tight", he said trying hard to make his toes relax but they were just getting crushed.
Lizzie palmed her head with her hand.
"Arrrrh", she sighed.
"Look holbert, it a long story and I just don't want to confuse you", Chloe huffed.
"Chloe we had never hid anything from each other since we were a kid but now ....am not sure if I even know you....or even Adam",with that he turned and left, ignoring Chloe completely.

"Holbert, mum said she was going to her friend house, want to tag along",adam voice broke into his thoughts.
"I don't know", holbert replied, going to the kitchen fridge and taking out a cool orange juice.
" But lisa is there", Adam winked at him.
Lisa was holbert crush and best friend since they were a kid, they were childhood friends but lately holbert seems to like her and had wished Lisa didn't see him as just an ordinary friend but lisa had a boyfriend, and she never fails to tell holbert about him.
"Well I could just stay back home and rest. Am a little bit tried", holbert declined.
Adam looked that him, probably wondering why holbert was empty when coming home.
" Where's the fries holbert?", he asked, folding his hands and looking at holbert like a mum telling off her child.
"I didn't go to the store anymore", holbert replied, covering up the fact that he totally forgot the reason for his outing.
"Then why did it take you four hours to come back home?",adam still questioned, persistent to fish holbert out.
"I ...mi..", holbert tried coming up with a reasonable excuse, even though he was mad at Chloe, he couldn't break his promise of keeping quiet about her.
"Don't tell me....!!!", adam suddenly crushed his eyes suspiciously at holbert's.
"What are you doing?", holbert felt uncomfortable.
"Did you already go and visit Lisa?", Adam asked holding a spoon in his hands, ready to fling it at holbert.
Holbert grabbed the only opportunity of an excuse to cover up.
He gave Adam a winky small and Adam instantly flinged the spoon at him , which he dodged easily and ran up to the room.
"Sulker", Adam shouted.

Chloe had requested that they rent an hotel to spend the night in and they all agreed.
Alex was amazed by the beauty of the city, the pool that seemed to be concreted in some ground floor, back home, they only had rivers, magical rivers.
" Wow, this place is amazing", Alex exclaimed.
He looked cute and adorable in Chloe eyes as she stole few glances at him which Lizzie caught.
"Well, we need to remember that we are here to protect the queen", Lizzie said. As she said that alex smile dropped and he turned to face his mother and Chloe, by that time they were already in the hotel room given to them.
" Mom, what going on here?, how is Chloe the queen when she barely knows anything", he turned to face red face Chloe,"No offence Chloe".
Chloe could only give a hmm sound and turned her face away, before she would be tempted to do something she might regret.
" Look Alex,...it all complicated", Lizzie said.
" Mom, nothing is complicated then the fact that am the only one living in ignorance of everything happening, at least let me know what am fighting for, what I risked my life for", Alex persisted.
" Let tell him and me too ", Chloe said, suddenly realized she too was lost in all this.
Lizzie huffed and led the two people to the bed
" Long ago in the spritual realm, when their was peace and harmony, the realm been protected by the powerful goddess Tainan.
She was pure and good at heart, letting the realm seem peaceful and gracefull just like that..., she placed a ruler in every species, both in the dragons who were her favorite.
But one day the demon king, Derek, became hungry for power and he ordered his demons to attack, but the queen could have destroyed him but the power backing him up till today is unknown and the queen was lost. The demons terrorised the realm, killing and raping anyone that stands in their way. We had all lost hope and had resigned to our fate when a prophecy was told by late powerful witch,meddi. she gave all of us hope and had told us to keep fighting but that only hope burning in us was destroyed when powerful meddi was killed and destroyed in battle, that was when I had Alex, and...", she hesitated a little bit, seems like she just remembered a bad memory",I lost my husband, your father, he was so strong and determined to fight the demons with his last breath and then he was killed. I saw his death face, his expression", Lizzie already had a few tears in her face.
"what was expression mom?", Alex asked.
"He held a peaceful look, a look that made me swore to find the chosen one", she looked at Chloe who had looked down at her palms facing her.
" Chloe even though you are too small to hold such a responsibility of a whole realm but people are dieing waiting for you, and it only a few number of days before the demons take over the human realm, they would be powerful", Lizzie said.
Chloe stood up, still looking at her palms as If they held something, she walked to the window and then took a few breath before facing Lizzie.
" Am ready to help you, but I need teaching on how to control my power and not let the power control me. I feel like am exploding with powers and I need to release it ", Chloe said.
" we would teach you", Alex stood up, thier was this look in his face, the look of vengeance.
" He is right Chloe", Lizzie too got up.
" Then let get ready because things are going to get tough".
Deep in the magical realm , passed the elf's realm into the elves ruler palace, a giant bird stood watching around, it had the tattoo of the dragons that Chloe had up in it's head.
