Chapter 17: Against the Gods (4)
After severing Qianye Yinger's head, her body fell to the ground like a puppet whose strings had been severed.
I couldn't stay here any longer because her death would somehow reach Yun Che. Either by feeling her energy disappearing or by her soul stone breaking. He will have seen my face if he finds out through the soul stone.

The reishi arrow I fired pierced through the ground and then moved rapidly towards that dragon. The reason he didn't notice me was that he was ordered to sleep unless a certain place was broken.
He woke up when the arrow came within a meter of him. But it was too late for him to protect himself. The arrow went through his forehead and out the back of his head. A mighty dragon of this level died so easily.
After confirming that the dragon was dead, I broke the floor with my soul pressure and jumped down. The cave was lit by candles. A little further on there was a strange-looking door.
The reason I jumped here was that it was a shortcut to Yun Che. Yun Che built a teleportation array here for Qianye Yinger. This way, you can instantly travel back and forth between the two Divine Regions.
When I got in front of the door, I used Heilig Bogen again and destroyed the door. What I saw behind it was a platform made of gold.
I got up on the platform and crouched down and thought about how I could make it work.
I didn't have to think too much because a miracle happened and the mechanism worked by itself.
After the teleportation was over, I looked around. I was once again in a dark cave, a Divine Master-level dragon guarding the solid-looking door in front of me.
I quickly drew my sword so that he wouldn't have to make too much noise, and I appeared next to him using Hirenkyaku. In one clean move, I decapitated him.
I spread my soul sense all around and memorized where people were. There was no one in the master bedroom. So I stood underneath it and gave a powerful punch to where it was.
I didn't want to deal with too many people at once, so I wanted to kill the other cultivators in the palace first.
After I got into the room, I used the shadows to go back to Silbern. Immediately afterward I used the shadows again to appear behind a guard and I covered his mouth and cut his neck. After he stopped breathing, I went back to Silbern.
In this way, I slowly assassinated all the powerful people in the palace.
The only strong ones left were Yun Che, Chi Wuyao and Mu Xuanyin.
"Finally, it's your turn. I'm sure you'll give me a harder time than Qianye." I whispered to myself.
