Chapter 3: CH:2 I AM Turles (2)

"Run, run fast. They're getting closer" said a man in an agitated and panicked tone, from the way he was dressed the man seemed to be a soldier, a full body armor having some blood stains on it.
"boom boom"
A large number of people could be seen running for their lives in the opposite direction from where the explosion took place, from the elderly to children. Everyone was running scared and trying to get away from the place as fast as possible.
The explosions occurred in a large castle with a medieval style, because of the explosions half of the castle collapsed, in the distance people could hear screams causing them to speed up their pace.
The soldiers who were escorting the people suddenly became tense, they started to insist the people to escape faster. The soldiers could see it clearly, the monster that is causing the chaos is approaching them, all the soldiers looked at each other and came to an agreement and without wasting any more time they prepared to face the monster in order to buy time for the people to get away.
"Come on, at least we have to buy time for the citizens, for that we became soldiers, to protect our people, let's protect these people and eliminate this monster!" Said one of the soldiers who seemed to be the leader of the He grouped the rest of the soldiers together as they steeled themselves to buy time for the citizens to escape.
"Yes!" The soldiers shouted at their leader's words.
The more than 20 soldiers set off and proceeded to meet the monster that was causing chaos in their home.

Me and the rest of the soldiers follow our captain and head towards the monster that is causing terror in the population.
Despite being afraid I kept going, my desire to protect people pushed me forward, it was the reason why I became a soldier, to protect my people from invaders and protect the smiles of children and not experience what that I lived
"GET READY, WE HAVE TO STOP THIS MONSTER AT ALL COSTS EVEN IF WE DIE, DO IT FOR THE PEOPLE, FOR YOUR FAMILY!" when I heard what the captain said the small fear I felt in my heart was replaced by determination, looking around I realized that the rest of my fellow soldiers were in a similar state to me, before they seemed hesitant but now they could be seen with a determined look and gripping the hilts of their swords tightly and without hesitation.
"Split into groups of three, one group to the right, one to the left, and the others to the front, NOW!" Hearing what the captain said, I quickly joined the group on the left, everyone already knew what we were going to do. Flanking the enemy in three different directions to overwhelm him without a chance to defend himself.
The group he was in was located on a hill, from there you could see the enemy, the monster that is terrorizing the town had a human appearance just like us, an armor that covered the upper half of his body with shoulder pads and a monocle in his right eye exposing the lower part of the body and the arms, it could be seen that the man was large and muscular.
The first to approach the monster was the group in the middle, the captain's team. The captain approached with drawn sword and said in a deep voice to the man who was looking at him mockingly.
"Who are you and why do you cause destruction and death in the kingdom?"
The man just raised his hand and at that moment I felt the danger and the captain could also feel it when he shouted "Be careful!" before quickly throwing himself to the side of the road while he saw how a ball of light formed from the man's hand. I quickly travel from his hand to the place where the captain was previously and explode.
"Boom, boom!" " argh, argh "
The explosion caused everything around the blast to go flying, causing some soldiers to be injured in the process. My group and I were shocked by what we witnessed, we had never seen anything like this, it is the first time I saw a person create an explosion with his hand. I can understand why it causes so much trouble and is called a monster, someone who can create explosions with his hand whenever he wants is too dangerous, if something like that hits a human, he will most likely die or end up seriously injured.
"Monster"
" Impossible "
"We have to run"
The companions around me were scared since I could hear what they were saying and to say that I wasn't scared either would be a lie.
"Don't hesitate, don't retreat, attack now, the crossbowmen attack!" Said the captain after getting up from the ground and listening to what the soldiers were saying.
Listening to the captain, all the soldiers, including me, came to their senses and especially the Crossbowmen prepared themselves, preparing the crossbows, the Crossbowmen from the respective left and right sides prepared the crossbows and aimed and fired at the same time. At the moment the Crossbowmen fired, the rest of the team ran towards the enemy.
The man was under a shower of arrows but he didn't flinch, the man just raised both arms and created balls of lights with his hands and shot them in both directions the arrows were coming from.
"boom boom"
The explosions caused the arrows to explode and the rest that didn't explode were repelled by the blast wave.
While that was happening, the center team that was in the middle of the road and the one that was closest to the enemy wasted no time and attacked at the same time, using their swords.
"Wosh, wosh" "shuzz" "argh"
The captain's team thought that they could catch him off guard since he was busy with the arrows, in that two soldiers lower their swords towards the man quickly but what they did not expect was that the man would disappear like smoke so that at the moment following screams will be heard.
They all turned their faces towards the place and saw the horrible man, the monster man had one of his hands embedded in the neck of one of the soldiers while his other hand was pointing to the stomach of another soldier or what was left of the stomach since the soldier had a hole the size of a watermelon, the hole went through his entire stomach and you could see everything behind the soldier, the hole was circular in shape and smoke came out of it. All the soldiers realized that the man had used a ball of light as he did with the arrows and when he attacked the captain.
All the soldiers who saw that gulped, they didn't even see how it happened but two soldiers were already dead.

This chapter is about the memories of Turles in case you didn't realize but from another point of view (weird but good heh)
