Chapter 11: The stranger's interest

"Would you please cover that monstrosity?"

Damien said, as he struggled to turn from the naked young man in the distance.

"Who are you?" The bear roared, realizing its breath seizing killing intent, causing the stranger to step back with caution.

"I'm just a man in these bloody woods" the stranger said his hands on his hips, as he smiled at the bear.

"I beg you... please would you cover up? I'm begging..." Damien cried.

"You are no man, you smell more dead than this one here." the bear said pointing its muzzle at Damien's body laying on the floor.

Damien released a heavy gulp at the bear's words, to him, the bear only saw him as nothing but a walking corpse, with his fate already sealed, not knowing the bear was simply stating facts, Damien didn't necessarily smell like the living, neither did he smell dead.

"Oh! but I was never alive in the first place" the stranger said releasing a sinister grin, as he moved closer to Damien only stopping at the growls of the bear.

"D-Don't come any fucking closer, God please skin me and give him to wear." Damien cried as he tried to forcefully avert his eyes only to be blown by compressed air

"Oh stop overreacting, you can just focus on his face" Nyrer scoffed.

"Focus on his face, when he looks like THAT!! are you FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!.

"Would you shut up you cunt?" The stranger yelled.

"HEY!! FUCKER, why don't cover up your BLOODY!! D–." Damien was gagged before he could finish his sentence with what seemed to be a glowing piece of scrap cloth.

"Mmmmmmmmm mmmm mmmmm mmmmm." Damien shouted in a muffled tone before suddenly, his black pupils rolled back leaving nothing but the white of his eyes, as the memories of the Titan Bear replayed in his head.

Damien had gotten into the mind of the bear during the first moment of their fight earlier, he could see himself holding onto his sword as he warded the bear's strike dishing out blows of his own, in his eyes he looked pretty cool, until he began to feel the intense hatred and despair felt by the bear.

The reason the bear despised Damien so much was due to the fact that a mere human cub could compete with it, Damien watched and learned his mistakes as he watched himself battle the bear, the places he could have done better, the strikes he could have held back in other to react with a beautiful counter.

Throwing out divine flames after divine flames as he forced the bear into a corner.

Damien had put the bear on its last foot, it had no means of surviving Damien's next attack, the only thing constantly replaying in its head was how it trained day and night trying to achieve its clans signature skill 'Titan armour', only to fail miserably.

With dread in its heart and the strength in its soul he reached out with its faith as he tried to recall its elder's teachings, a last ditch effort for survival.

For most beasts a special skill that best fits their bodies structure, physic and total way of life, resides in everyone of them waiting to be unleashed.

The Titan bears have one of the toughest defenses in this realm, but it wasn't enough, with the combination of air, metal and darkness particles in the air it had gained one of the toughest armour in the realm depending on the caster's strength, it was extremely difficult to learn, like any other skill.

The bear recalled its training and the words that was spoken to it as it trained, "let go your faith and let it show you result".

Those words repeated itself constantly in its head.

The memories passed and Damien found himself back in his body, most of his faith drawn out of his leviar.

Not wanting to draw attention to himself, Damien decided to keep still and focus on creating the perfect 'Burning Body' , he could feel himself drawing closer to it.

Whilst Damien was receiving enlightenment from the Titan bear's experience, the conversation between the bear and the stranger had gotten coercive.

"You have something I'm interested in, you hairy cunt. If you don't mind, could you let him go?" The stranger said, staring daggers at the large bear.

"HAHAHA!!!!"

The bear's laugh reverberated through the forest as it opened its jaws in amusement, suddenly the laughing stopped, and the bear's eyes turned to deadly slits.

In the blink of an eye, the bear arrived right behind the stranger driving its massive paw into the side of his body.

BOOM!!!

The bear looked to the side where the stranger had landed with, smirking as it walked towards Damien's unmoving body.

"Bloody bastard" the bear said.

"Is that so?"' a voice replied right behind the bear, the bear turned its head meeting the grey eyes of the stranger unscathed, this time putting on black underwear.

"How did you--" the bear could barely hide its surprise ( pun intended).

"Trust me it won't be that easy to get rid of me." The stranger said with a smile on his face.

Infuriated, the bear dished out blow after blow only to be completely dodged by the stranger, with a smile on his face.

Each blow generated enough force to shatter a man's entire body on impact.

The bear soon stopped its attack, as it felt something.

The thing he was trying to kill seemed to be a mass of darkness particles, it was just an illusion, it had been so engrossed in the fight that it failed to notice.

Suddenly the hairs on its back stood on end.

It turned its head with force facing Damien, as it opened its jaw releasing a burst of compressed air towards Damien.

BOOM!!!!

The place Damien had laid had been completely destroyed leaving behind dust and debris, unfortunately for the bear, Damien was never there.

The Titan bear suddenly turned its head meeting two black pupil's with a golden symbol in its centre.

Damien suddenly mouthed.

"Full burn"

Suddenly a powerful flame erupted from him, sending a strong burst of wind in all directions, black flames covered his body, burning the air around him before reducing in size lingering around his body.

With a powerful blow propelled by a burst of flames at his elbow, Damien drove his fist into the bear's back sending it a few feet back.

He walked over to his sword that laid on the floor, picking it up as he walked towards the stranger.

"Thanks for the help, man." Damien said looking at the stranger in the eyes as he handed the sword over to him.

"It's Ezran... Ezran Sol" the stranger said taking the sword from Damien's hand.
