Jackrixis and Demonic hound war 2
It was an unending clash of swords and spears as bodies dropped as the hounds blood sprayed across the forest and dyed the ivory snow.
So far, 30 minutes had passed as the support teams slashed any hound in sight as they did everything they could to advance.The other attacking team would only step in when it looked like a rixis was getting overwhelmed.
The demonic hounds had earned their names as they dart from all across the forest while salivating at all the blood around them.The fight quickly turned into a slogfest, and a dozen hounds had already been put down.
But they still had a lot of fight in them, and they pursued more land without care for whatever came in their way.It was like a chainsaw with the destruction and death sweped through the forest as the violence only grew further.
Over time, more mutated and evolved hounds started to appear, some with positive and negative evolutions, whether it be stronger muscles or being blind but with enhanced hearing, many variants started to appear.
This changed the battle quite significantly as some enemies were easier to kill, but others took even longer to beat now. Luckily, the blessed manged to handle the harder to handle dogs that popped up.
While the fighting went on, one of the support teams second in command ran towards the attacking team leader.
"Cracked claw, we think we're getting close to our enemies' territory. Naya far seer said you should prepare to fight"-Small teeth
Cracked claw looked at the support teams messenger, who was used to communicating with the attacking teams. Small teeth were one of the youngest here but were still good fighters, but they tried to look after him and keep him back so he had a higher chance of making it back.
"Okay, well, start to move up closer, but make sure they push as far as possible and then hunker down. So the survivors still have a place we can fall back to once we destroy the nest"-Cracked claw
Small teeth quickly ran back to the support team, who had moved a few meters ahead from when he left and told his leader the information he was told.
The support leader Naya, the far seer, decided they would continue on for another hour before they would get in a defensive position.
A basic defence would be a basic spear wall made from the nearby trees and branches while also stacking rocks and dirt.
For the next hour, they moved forward, and the number of hounds decreased, but the strength and skills they had increased.
"I'm surprised I haven't seen any mystical beasts yet who bind the elements to their wills"-Naya far seer
"Most likely, they are holding them back, not that it will stop us, they will fall either way, and we will celebrate their demise"-Naya far seer
The environment changed quite drastically. No more snow was falling, and the ground could be seen, and it was cracked and scarred. While the trees appeared dried and blackened, it was quite obvious that the nest was affecting its environment.
The nest changed its environment that fit its inhabitants more, so this was why the land was actually starting to heat up. But because of the strong wind of the winter forest, it wasn't very noticeable, but it would sooner or later be converted, and the forest would die.
The support team barricaded themselves on the border between the snow and cracked lands of the hounds. This was when the attacking team took the lead after the support team had killed over 300 hounds.
The attacking team said goodbye to the support team, and Cracked Claw and Naya spoke to each other.
"Try your best to hold on Naya, and once the survivors of my team start coming in, all I ask is for you to wait for some time and then leave swiftly"-Cracked claw
"You talk as if you're already dead claw, but I will do my best to keep as many of us alive as possible"-Naya far seer
"I'm old Naya. I've hunted for many moons and cycles, and the younger generations are growing, and us old souls need to allow them to bloom so our race can prosper"-Cracked claw
The two held eachothers attention as Naya pondered about his thoughts before she closed her fist and thumped his chest.
"May the gods bless you with a glorious end and a beautiful memory for those in the future to cherish"-Naya far seer
They then went back to their own teams and Cracked claw soldiered on as his team got to stretch their legs and start fighting. Claw himself was trying not to get involved too much as he wanted to save his energy for the nest.
4 eyed hounds with blisters on their backs attacked his teams while other hounds with bone likes armour smashed into them.
The bronze weapons were marvelous when it came to cutting through hounds flesh and even some thin bone. It's much better than the stone tools and wooden spears that were used previously.
This caused the Jackrixis to smash through any hound, attacking them, and soon in the distance, saw a large gathering of hounds and beyond them was a small structure.
As soon as they arrived, it was clear they were expected, and 3 hounds stood out amongst all the other mutated demonic hounds.
Cracked claw quickly talked to his warriors and made a plan to deal with the current threat.
"You will spilt, and both take on the 2 smaller beasts. I alone will deal with the alpha and will the destory the nest"-Cracked claw
His warriors seemed unsure about letting him fight alone, but they all knew he wouldn't be coming back with them.Most likely, he was giving them move numbers so they could beat the betas faster.
"Now is not the time for sadness!. Now is the time for glory, and you will all witness me as I break our enemies!"-Cracked claw
His soldiers roared with his speech and charged at the hounds that also charged at them, and the two side collided.

MRgold1 There will probably be 2 more chapters as this was never meant to be a large-scale war, which is what the rixis wanted to avoid at all cost, so it will be a quick and costly battle.
