Chapter Four
" I was the closest subordinate of the past leader that was taken into trance. She taught me everything I need to know. I read both the chants and spells books,and even the book of revelation and knowledge granted to the divine creatures, I read that too." As he said those words the crowd were surprised; because the book of revelation and knowledge was for those that want to be like a spirit and communicate with the spirit of the after worlds.
" Then after she left, we needed a new leader. It was certain I was the one to be chosen, just then this cocky priestess choose Alaska over me and lied that it was the decision of the gods!"
" The gods choose me! I know that!"She shouted and then suddenly a strong wind blew in the shrine causing the candle light to go off and the people started praying once again, vibrating and murmuring some words. Then the light suddenly went on again and behold the high priestess was standing in her fullness and glory.
Her grey like sliver hair flying in the air thanks to the wind and her eyes changed colour from deep ocean blue to striking dark orbs. That was her own way to signify her anger.
"Did you just insult the gods?" She asked.
" No I insulted you, this sneaky priestess!" He yelled looking at the priestess in the eyes with no sign of fear .Then a terrific thunder strikes so close to the shrine causing a loud noise and the crowd tremble in fear and they started screaming:
"Iniashaga lamerato kikinas la fit!"
(We send the wrath of the gods away)
" YOU!!!!!"The priestess shouted as the grumbling sound of the thunder intensify.
" You said blasphemy things to me the messenger of the gods, it's the same as insulting the gods and founders of the cult society!"
" Olomande!!!!!!"The people scream out still praying vigorously.
" I don't bloody care! I will make a society cult of my own and become the gods and founder too."He said laughing loudly, then some people stopped praying and looked at him in Surprise.
" He must have gone nuts!" One of them said.
"Instead of him to be pleading for mercy and his life!"Another added shaking his head.
" He is simply blinded by jealousy and been too over zealous" Said another.
" You are greedy and selfish. I always know that you can never rule this cult ,ever since you asked me to show you how we can rule the whole universe and make ourselves know to the human race." The priestess said.
" That is why you can never be the leader! Because if you did you will expose us to the real world and then finally ruin us and our doctrine passed down from our ancestors .You have the greed to rule something huge and large and you don't belong to this cult!"
" Why don't I belong here? Is it wrong for me to want the best for our cult. The doctrine are gibberish; we should be allowed to rule the world and dominate the earth with our power of sorcery. "
" But No! We hide up in the mountain reading lame doctrines and praying for more powers every day! what is the use of those powers then?"
" To protect nature and the gifts of the universe " the priestess said.
" What is the use of nature and gifts of universe when we can have our shrines in all corner of the world. And great kings and leaders will bow to us asking for our help to dominate their fellow humans,and in the end we actually rule them all!"
" You don't see what I see!The priestess said looking at his eyes." I see braveness, proudness, greediness and lustfulness in your eyes. You are long gone away from us!" She said as she turns back at him heading to the pool.
" The gods has spoken my people!" Then they all stopped to listen to her.
" Do to Rotweller as you please, his judgement will not come from my mouth." She said as she settle down in the water, closing her eyes.
