Chapter 30: What If - Zeref Reincarnated in Wizarding World
When the Curse of Contradiction was countered by Love, the One Magic, it broke Zeref's immortality. However, a shard of his soul was flung away from the Fairy Tail World by the God Ankhseram to prevent atleast a part of him from escape the consequences of his decision to use Forbidden Magic and made him continue his immortal life.
Somehow transmigrating across Worlds to the Harry Potter World, Zeref's soul shard attached itself to a random orphan muggle boy and fused into his dying soul, healing the body and the fused soul with his immortality.
When he awakens, Zeref finds that even though he is still immortal, the negative side of the Ankhseram Curse of Contradiction has weakened greatly.
It was to the point that he could completely control and suppress it, harnessing its power for his own use in a minor capacity.
He also discovers that he is not in his previous world, and although he knew about parallel planes adjacent to Earthland, this current world was nothing like he knew previously.
Moreover, his magic seemed to have undergone a change. No longer could he sense Ethernano, but rather he sensed a different form of magical energy that suffused his body and the very fabric of this world.
With some experiments, he found that this new form of magic energy was very incompatible with most of the combat based unique magic of Earthland, but was very synergetic to constructive and creative magic.
Moreover, when using magic, he would not longer need to make magic glyphs appear, although manifesting the magic glyphs made his magic significantly stronger.
A few weeks after his transmigration, he was visited by a middle aged woman in a fancy robe and witch's hat, offering him a place in a Wizarding School.
Feeling intrigued by the prospect of living a normal scholarly life after spending centuries of his life being cursed, Zeref agreed.
