Chapter 58: His true colors

When her mother started showing her kindness, Dexter could tell that she was only pretending. He watched from afar how she would smile whenever her mother showed her fake love.

There was a time he wanted to take her away but he was scared of the fact that Alex would find out his motive.

Sandra and Laura went to the mall to shop, Dexter stood and watch her when Alex tried flirting with her and she acted like he was not existing. Dexter secretly smiled, and the feelings he had her for grew stronger.

Laura hurry up, we don't have all day." She heard her mom yell from downstairs, giving herself one final look in the mirror, she hurriedly went down to meet her mother. Her beautiful yellow flower gown swayed from side to side.

"Sorry, mom, I didn't mean to waste time." her mom just smiled and stared at her lovingly.

"let's go?" she asked her and she nodded in response. Sandra was not at home, she had gone to a party last night and hadn't returned home.
