Chapter 9: Chapter-9 Silly Fights at Mihran's. Again!
Mihran was fighting with his Mom on the breakfast table. Mom - Son had a dangerous mood.
'... Mom, are you going to repeat it over and over again?', he yelled.
'You ignored me last night also. ', Mom shouted on the top of both her lungs.
'I didn't ignore you. I was just being patient with you, but now, my patient bridge has broken. '
'Ha! Can you ever be serious about your life? '
'No! And you know that. You know what I am. I am a playboy. I can't go any further than that. '
'Hell yeah. And, do you know any other mother in this whole universe permitting their son to do "things" with others? '
'Oh, Gosh. That "things" sounded so bad. I don't do "things"? '
'You do everything but kisses. Am I right? It's such a stupid theory. I don't understand it. '
'And, I don't want to make you understand it. I and my God know it. I don't have to explain the world... I don't want to be serious when I can be happily single, ', he said with a sassy tone and showed a peace sign at the end.
'You're not single, you're not taken. You're something in between and I don't know what that's called... At your age, I got myself into so many serious relationships just to find true love. But, you're not even trying. You should stop roaming around with girls, and be serious in your life. When are you going to get a real girlfriend? '
'And now, do you know any other woman in this universe "ordering" their son to get a girlfriend? '
'It's only because I don't like your lifestyle, love. '
Mihran replied with a disgusted look.
'Mom, please... Stop, in the name of God! Okay, stop in the name of law, that's what you listen to. Let's cut this crap here. '
He was trying to keep his calm.
'Look at you! You're a lonely 20 year old, navigating, with a 40 in × 80 in bed. '
'... I'm not lonely, for God's sakes. When you're there, absolutely not. ', he sweetly clarified.
'Oh really? '
'Yeah... I have you, I have good friends. God gave me enough. I'm so lucky. What else do I need? '
'Mutual love- trust- care- the right way... to live your life. '
After few seconds, Mihran expressed softly, 'Listen, Mom. It's my life. It's interesting, it's complicated. But I know my way out... "the right way", you know. I can't indulge myself into love right now. If I fall in love with someone, I'd have to give them a lot of time. And, I'm not ready for it. I have studies to spend time on. I want to become like you. And, you know better that there's nothing really "love"-ly in that police station. Otherwise, you wouldn't have to bring me up alone. Now... is there any problem? '
'Our conversation always ends up like this... ', she said with a disappointed look.
'...because we always talk about it... '
Holding up for sometime, Mom said softly, 'I love you, sweetie. '
'Ugh, I hate it when you call me "sweetie". They chuckled. He then sweetly said, 'I love you, too, Mom! '
He stretched his arms and hugged her.
'We should less often talk about this topic. ', he softly said.
'Son, you know I can't resist it. I'm your mother. I can't stop thinking about your life. '
'I want my future to be like my present. And, my present is doing really well. Everything's settled then. '
'Now, what are your plans today? '
'Live. ', he answered.
It was afternoon. Mihran had gone with Farman to a club, whereas his Mom, Ms. Riza, had gone to the police station, her workplace. Her holiday turns were on Sundays only. In the evening, she returned home to get some documents she had forgot to take. But, while going back...
