That evening, after everyone had rested in their respective rooms, Richard immediately asked his wife about the little incident in the living room.

"Xia Xia, are you going to explain to me what happened just now?"

"What?" Anxia put on an innocent face when she asked her husband back.

"It's useless for you to put on your mask. I already know all your different kinds of masks, so you can't fool me."

"Who wants to fool you?" Anxia wrapped her arms around Richard's waist as she raised her head to look at her husband with puppy eyes. "I will not dare to trick my husband."

"Why are you causing trouble?"

"I'm not." Anxia still denied it even though Richard kept bugging her.

"You accidentally spilled your tea on Michele's clothes."

"No. I didn't do it on purpose. You don't believe me?"

"I want to, but you make it hard for me to believe you."
