"I can't get used to seeing snow in spring even after four years."

Kieran reached his hand outside, and a cold snowflake quickly melted in his warm palm.

For days now, it had been snowing in Eaton, the capital of Gaior. To be exact, it felt more like rain since the snow immediately melted as it touched the ground.

The blooming lilacs dotted the garden in purple, and the sensitive leaves of the mimosas curled as a maid ran through the garden in a hurry.

Winter in the skies, and spring on the earth.

Kieran looked down at the trees in full bloom and turned to call out for the boy with gray hair, who had been ignoring him and was dozing off with a book over his face.

"Ian."

Kieran smirked and stepped away from the window.
