Chapter 134: Old Memories

Wo Shie could only feel as though this liquid seemed to closely resemble a mix of blood water and magma and images began flashing through his mind like old memories he had buried deep deep within his soul.

He could vaguely see the figure of a woman near him while he could hear her speaking more clearly.

"Wo Shie do you know what the difference between a mortal and an immortal is?" The woman had asked him as they seemed to be inside of a long chamber with the shillouettes of winged creatures lined the sides of the walls.

"Oh… this should be interesting do tell." Wo Shie responded.

"It is not the length of the life lived, as you well know even humans that live short inconsequential lives may not experience supernatural powers many may call themselves reincarnations and others might reincarnate with those memories locked within the deepest parts of their soul. Why do you think this is?" The woman asked.

Hearing these words Wo Shie stopped in his steps deep in thought. "Are you trying to say that even mortals can have an immortals breath?" Wo Shie questioned shocked.

Hearing his shock the sihlouette of the woman stopped turning her head back slightly before a light chuckle left from her lips.

"You sure know how not to beat around the bush these days, but yes that is correct. That is because truthfully there is nothing that separates mortals and immortals but the length of time they spend conscious in a single vessel." The woman spoke confirming Wo shies suspicion.

"So what would happen if a so called mortal attempted to cultivate his vessel to be in immortal vessel?" Wo she asked.

Hearing this question the woman laughed boisterously wiping away tears. "You never fail to surprise me, only you would ask something like that knowing we are different from both mortals and immortals what use could you have for this information." The woman asked her voice slowly going from jovial to a sharp and pointed tone as if beginning an interrogation.

Her face began to become slightly clearer as they stood there showing her unblemished marble like skin with black and white swirls on her cheeks. Her Snow White hair hung over her shoulders like an avalanche, and her golden eyes seemed to vividly pierce through Wo shies creating a sense of connection he had not yet felt with anyone.

Hearing this question and seeing her powerful gaze Wo shies fist unconsciously tightened as his gaze fell to the floor.

"You should know me by now… if I could teach an ant to become a god I probably would, I have spent time in the mortal realm and around mortals, if some were honestly given the chance to become truly immortal in a single life…" Wo Shie began before his words were interrupted.

"Nonsense, there are some things you may not be ready to know, as for teaching an ant to become a god I will tell you this. Don't let the hand you feed your own mouth with be bitten off by scavengers with lofty ideals. You must always seek to grow stronger, if not eventually you will be below everything you have looked down on." She said turning around to walk away.

'Lui?' Wo Shie thought in question as the woman had slightly resembled Lui Marime from what he could see, the only differences he could tell were in their skin, eye, and hair color so he couldn't be sure it was her.

After the woman said this Wo shies consciousness returned to his body. Wo Shie had done nothing but it was as if his body was accepting his command as he could see a small black dot had appeared within the white spire of light sucking in the viscous energy all around him at what would seem like an alarming rate had he not been aware of the vast size of this viscous cloud.

Still even after absorbing what seemed like a drop of water in an ocean the purification of Wo shies body seemed to become stronger by at least tenfold.

As the black dot began absorbing energy the white spire of light cleansed and purified it before ejecting it from its highest and lowest points. Every second this went on more tiny black dots would appear forming what looked like an inverted start sky.

Every ejection of purified energy from the white light had the potential to grow into a massive galaxy within his inner universe with each ejection becoming slightly stronger as if the white spire was increasing in pressure.
