Chapter 60: Bathing in Blood

Sometime later Wo Shie woke up in the dark space. This time the man wasn't anywhere to be seen. Waking up to utter darkness the first thought to appear in Wo Shie's mine was 'did I die?'. He began to check for his body and was relieved to see his own hands, torso and feet.

He was surprised he could see his hands in the darkness there wasn't anything there to illuminate his surroundings so it should have been impossible for him to see.

When he thought about how he shouldn't be able to see he fell back to the thought of 'Maybe I did really die… Is this where Mom is?' In such a despairing situation his thoughts of his lost loved ones came back.

The pain that came with the thought of his mom being in a place like this all along hurt the young Wo Shie to the core. 'If only I could have been stronger, none of this would have happened…. Why me, this is so unfair I didn't ask for any of this.' He lamented to himself.

While he was wallowing in his sorrow the man appeared again before him, this time his face was different and instead of his eyes being a dark abyss it looked like a younger version of the same older man.

His hair was long and as white as snow while his eyes were also white and his pupils flashed in different black symbols. He wore a white robe with black writing, written a language Wo Shie couldn't understand.

The writing looked primal as it was pictures of different animals and elements, yet somehow it conveyed a clear message that it was writing.

Wo Shie watched the man cautiously as he appeared, "Who are you and where is the one that brought me here?" He asked the man with his guard fully up he didn't know who this guy was but in his thoughts of the possibility he died he resolved himself no matter who it was or what happened the next time someone tried to take control of his life if he were still alive he would fight to his death.

"I am him, I thought it might be easier on you to see a more gentle face so this is who I've decided to present myself as from now on." The man said his voice as calming as the sound of a gently flowing river.

Wo Shie continued to watch the man cautiously while trying to communicate with Lola, and Typhon. 'Lola, Typhon are you there' he said internally, he didn't know if they would hear him but he knew he had talked to Lola through his thoughts before. Surprisingly there was no response causing the young Wo Shie to raise his guard even more.

"What did you do with my 2 friends?" Wo Shie asked homing he wouldn't have to fight alone at the very least.

"Friends… What an interesting way to see them they are sealed from wherever they came but they haven't been harmed so I couldn't worry." The man said in a nonchalant tone going at Wo Shie's pace so the child would lower his guard and could begin what he brought him for.

"Sealed where they came from…" Wo Shie repeated the man's words while thinking about where Lola and Typhon came from. 'Taijutu's Abode!' Wo Shie thought in realization. Remembering he could physically enter the castle he tried to as a form of escape only to find out sealing them inside also meant he couldn't enter

Seeing this Wo Shie became distraught he just might die alone like his mother had, when he thought this he thought to himself that he deserved it, he could have been there to at least die with he instead he was away bathing in warm water while half of his home village was bathing in blood.

Seeing Wo Shie's constantly changing expression the man was able to surmise that he was going through a lot right now but he could have honestly cared less about the young Wo Shie's predicament his only job was to see to it that the young Wo Shie was no longer blind.

"Do you wish to learn how to see or do you want this place to become your grave?" The man asked his tone flat carrying no hint of any emotion still it produced a certain calming effect.
