The servant passed Vanessa and Chelsea because he was done with his job. He then left to return to deliver drinks to other guests.

Previously, Vanessa and Chelsea ordered the servant to give Zalina something to drink. They plan to trap Zalina. The plan arose when Chelsea noticed Zalina was talking to Stephen.
