Chapter 119: A Broken Trust

I had to blink several times to make sure I heard Mia correctly. My mom hated Ray's guts. How the hell did they become that intimate?

Mia must have seen the look on my face, because she sighed, picked up her coffee, and took a sip. Her face was once again, devoid of emotions. 

Well, if I were in her place, delivering the same news, I too would feel the same. Then again, it would be more like anger or maybe I would be disappointed. 

"Mia, when?"

She did not even bother to look at me when she answered, her voice was also monotonous. 

"Not sure, Ate. But I saw them. At home. Of all the places. They were doing it at home. In the bed, you and the kids had slept before," her voice was full of bitterness. "They both had the fucking guts to do it there!"
