It was a really good thing that I was holding on to the banister or I would have fallen. I haven't worn a wedge for a long time. But damn, the moment I saw Duncan, my heart just stopped beating. 

He was dashing. The kind of dashing I wrote in my books. Those kinds. The suit emphasizes his upper body. I could see how broad shoulders are. The dress pants look sexy making him more manly. 

"Hello, lass," he said, desire coating his words. The way his eyes scanned me from head to toe made my inside melt. He had seen me naked, but the way he was looking at me now made me realized he had never seen me in a formal attire. 

I tilted my head and gave him a sexy grin that I rarely do. "Hello, Laird," I greeted him, his eyes held mine and for a brief second I saw the two of us tangled in his sheets while he pounded me till I climaxed.
