Chapter 276: Hell to pay

There was quickly a shift from what the original plan was which was any student who could beat Sage in a sparring section now became a new arrival who demanded he went in place of Sage. Benzema, someone Klaus and the others who had been attending the martial arts class knew quite well. He was an audacious one but yet an interesting character. With a ring fixed on his ear, he certainly was amongst the irregular looking kids of the generation they were in.

"I don't see how this makes sense. I mean, the deal was to fight you and not him. Besides, why are you backing down now?" Duncan asked, directing his statement to Sage who stood aside from the drama. In as much as he was their teacher and the oldest one amongst them, there were times even he too got caught up in the drama and enjoyed it without having to intervene. But as it was with everything about him concealed, his face failed to show any sign or hint of what he was probably cooking up in his head.
