The man was none other than Su Yang himself.
Shen Fei frowned. "You? Why are you here?"
"You're asking me why I'm here?" Su Yang's smile did not reach his eyes. "You don't need to know that. Since you helped me kill the demonic beast and obtained the strange energy, you can go on your merry way."
As soon as he finished speaking, Su Yang walked to the demonic beast's corpse and took the bead.
"I have a question for you. From the way you moved when we fought briefly, you could have defeated the demonic beast yourself. Why did you ask me to help you?" Shen Fei asked dubiously.
Su Yang shrugged. "I have my reasons."
"I see... Where are my friends?" Shen Fei asked again.
"They have been waiting for you outside the cave for a long time," Su Yang said. He left after tucking the bead away. Shen Fei did not hesitate and followed him out of the cave.
There's a story written by Nandhana Ramesh that is about a flying turtle. It was called The Legend of Kachhuāmai: The Flying Turtle.
Here's a paragraph describing it.
"Kachhuāmai was a golden turtle with regal wings that stretched to the sky, and had the sharp talons of an eagle. He was known to be very wise, and many people came to him with questions. However, for unknown reasons, Kachhuāmai only revealed himself on the first day of winter every year."
