5th inning, the top was about to start, and all the players were currently on the move going to their positions. Meanwhile in Seido's Dugout.
"Hahahaha…Leave it to me this inning! Boss! Just watch how I hit Rei's pitches. Hahaha…", said Sawamura as he continued laughing proudly.
"Shut up and go warm up", said Kataoka bluntly.
"Hahaha…I will do it right away, Boss! Since I know how devastating it would be for the team if I Sawamura can't perform well", said Sawamura as he flattered himself.
"That face pisses me off", commented Miyuki.
"I'm here too you know", said Kawakami.
No comment was given by Furuya since he still had a towel on his head and sat on the bench in deep thought. Miyuki had tried to talk to him, but he couldn't get a reply from him, so he left.
'I guess Sawamura is the only one who can talk to Coach like that', thought Miyuki awkwardly witnessing the interaction between them.
"We are going to destroy Yakushi in this inning. Yahaha! Rei's not going to know what hit him", said Kuramochi laughing menacingly as he imagined the scenario of Rei admitting how much better of a player, he was than him.
'I have a bad feeling about this', thought Haruichi as he looked at Kuramochi senpai's expression.
Back in the Field. All the players stood in their positions getting ready. Yakushi players stretched as they waited for the siren to ring.
Rei on the mound, 'It's surprising how Sawamura can pitch numbers. I have to be cautious of him in this match. Any carelessness could cost us the game. Another thing that's on my mind is that I have to open the reward for the quest so badly. The curiosity is killing me. How about I ope-'. He was about to receive the reward, but the siren rang, signaling the game's start.
Seido was batting, so Higasa came to the batter's box. Without any mercy, Rei struck him out and Higasa swung at each pitch aggressively.
"Strike!", said the umpire.
Higasa looking sullen along with his pouty lips left the batter's box.
The second Higasa went back to the dugout, a loud voice was heard in the field.
"Leave everything to me! This is a piece of cake. I am going to go and hit a home run. I know the team is losing. I will do my best to score. I got you! Cap!", said Sawamura confidently as he walked to the batter's box swinging his bat.
Remembering Sawamura's previous actions, Rei thought that he might actually have something up his sleeves for batting since even a noob knew how bad of a batter Sawamura was. So, Rei turned serious this time, he needed to get Sawamura out.
Sawamura in the batter's box sweated bullets and laughed feeling the pressure Rei was emitting on the mound. 'I got this', he thought grabbing his bat tightly.
Rei pitched and Sawamura yelled, "HIYAA!" each time he swung and missed.
"Strike!", said the umpire.
'I guess I was worrying for nothing', thought Rei scratching his head awkwardly.
In Seido's Dugout. Miyuki was trembling in shock, 'That baka! He should've bunted or something he wasted such a good chance of scoring. Now, why is he walking back as if nothing happened?', he thought stupefied staring at Sawamura.
Sawamura walked back to the dugout calmly and put his bat back in the rack.
'Can't trust that idiot with anything', thought Asou as he walked to the batter's box.
"Asou senpai, good luck!", yelled Sawamura from the dugout giving him a thumbs up with a twinkle in his eyes.
This action ticked off Asou and he grumbled in response.
On the mound, 'Hopefully, this is the last inning I have to pitch. I'm getting bored of this match there's not much challenge. Anyways, since it's the last inning hopefully, fingers crossed, how about I give them a show to remember.', thought Rei smirking.
Seeing Rei smirking on the mound, an ominous feeling rose in Kazuma's heart.
Asou came to the batter's box and gripped his bat.
Taking a deep breath, Rei pitched, a rising fastball.
Kazuma held his breath as he caught the ball. It was his second time catching this pitch, if it wasn't for his practice with Rei, he wouldn't be able to catch it.
Asou stood stiff in the batter's box not knowing what just hit him. He looked at the mound and saw Rei smirking at him. 'That bastard, is he being playful? In this situation!', he was pissed.
'Woo. He's angry', thought Rei chuckling as he whistled.
Seeing Rei's playful personality on the mound, both teams were shocked since they couldn't imagine he would be playing it easy in this situation.
Raizou clapped and winked at Rei giving him a thumbs up which weirded him out but Kataoka, on the other hand, was getting anxious.
In the audience.
"His play style Is cool", said Ryosuke.
"These actions of his will definitely discourage the rival team. He's not taking the match seriously and it's the finals", commented Chris.
Ryosuke nodded, 'Though I still think his playstyle is cool'.
Back in the Field.
"3 Outs! Change!", yelled the umpire.
Yakushi's dugout celebrated while everyone in Seido's dugout was getting anxious.
In Seido's Dugout. Asou came back to the dugout frustrated by his own helplessness. "Don't mind", said Sawamura as he patted his back consoling him. Asou looked at him stupefied.
"We have to do our best not to let them score any more runs!", said Nabe emphasizing the importance of this. He knew if they let them score more runs the game is definitely going to be called. He didn't know what was going on in the coach's mind right now.
Miyuki nodded as heard Nabe's advice. 'He's getting anxious. Well, looking at the situation he would be. Some players gained their motivations back, but some are still not holding it together like Furuya which is why we have to stop them this inning if we want to win this'.
Before going to the field in their positions. Miyuki huddled everyone up and gave them a pep talk to encourage them. Kuramochi could also feel the tension in the team and gave props to Miyuki since he was trying to resolve this. Obviously, Sawamura was the only person who didn't need a pep talk since he has his personality.
Everyone went to their positions and got ready mentally to face Yakushi's batting.
Meanwhile in Yakushi's Dugout. "Whoever scores a run this inning will be given a week off from my training camp", announced Rei.
Immediately everyone's eyes shone, they needed to get this. Each player promised themselves they would score even Raichi. Sanada caught Raichi pumping himself up in a corner. He laughed not able to hold it in.
"KEHAHAHA…I'm going to get the time off. Then I'll get to practice my batting and not some useless drills", said Raichi pumping himself up, he looked back as he felt a touch on his back.
"Good luck", said Sanada snickering.
"D-don't tell this to Rei", said Raichi nervously as if he was caught doing a crime.
"I won't tell if you do my errands for a whole month", said Sanada.
Raichi was about to deny it but on second thought he agreed, It was better than having Rei know that he despised the training camp.
'This swinging maniac', thought Sanada shaking his head as he walked away.

5th inning, the bottom was about to start and all the players wearing their gear walked towards their positions in the field. Everyone held different expectations from this inning. Everyone in Seido's dugout was walking towards the field except Sawamura who was staring dazed at the scoreboard.
"Sawamura, go to the mound", said Miyuki walking up to him.
Sawamura's thoughts were shattered, and he nodded. He hurriedly grabbed his glove and walked to the mound.
'Is he ok? He looked fine to me a few minutes ago', thought Miyuki.
'Why are my hands shaking? We have to hold them down this inning or else we won't even get a chance to score', thought Sawamura on the mound gathering his thoughts.
Miyuki looked concerned as he walked toward his position.
The siren rang signaling the start of the game. Masuda came to the batter's oozing determination, the only thought in his mind was that he had to get the time off if he didn't, he couldn't imagine joining a training camp right after the finals.
Taking a deep breath, Sawamura pitched.
"Ball!", yelled the umpire seeing the ball was not in the strike zone.
Sawamura's anxiousness grew, his hands were shaking since the beginning of the inning. The realization had hit him seeing the scoreboard that they were going to lose the finals if he couldn't hold Yakushi back this inning. He realized the pressure and responsibility of being on the mound.
'What's going on? Something's wrong. I think his control is not good enough right now for numbers. We can always go back to fastballs.', thought Miyuki. He signaled for a fastball and Sawamura nodded.
Sawamura threw fastballs for the 2nd pitch but Masuda who had an exceptional eye today hit the pitch towards the left field. "Harucchi!", yelled Sawamura looking back. Haruichi dove and caught the ball, he hurriedly threw it to Maezono.
"Out!", yelled the umpire. Sawamura sighed a sigh of relief. It was safe he just needed 2 more outs for this inning.
As soon as Masuda reached Yakushi's Dugout, the players felt pity for him since he would have to join the training camp. "Welcome to the camp", said Rei smirking at him as he sipped on his juice. Masuda almost fainted because of his own misfortune.
"Don't worry I got this!", said Mishima as he finished chewing on his snack. He walked to the batter's box confidently. He gripped his bat tightly ready to swing.
'Let's try the numbers again, what happened to his control? Sawamura, what are you thinking?', thought Miyuki full of questions seeing Sawamura's state. He had never seen him like this.
Sawamura nodded and threw the pitch toward the umpire. Seeing the ball come towards him the umpire skillfully evaded it, but he seemed angry. "Ball", he said.
After a few minutes, "Ball 4!", said the umpire. Mishima chuckling dropped the bat and walked toward the first base.
Sawamura stared at his hands shocked. The slight pressure he was feeling grew at an exceptional rate. The next batter, Raichi came to the batter's box. His eyes widened seeing him as if he had forgotten.
"Time out", said Miyuki. The umpire clicked his tongue annoyed but nodded. Miyuki ran towards Sawamura. Meanwhile, Seeing that Miyuki called a time-out worried all the players on the field and in the dugout.
All the teammates gathered at the mound. They could feel the tension. Kuramochi kicked Sawamura behind, waking him up from the shock. "Just 2 more outs!", said Haruichi. "Yeah, relax. If you are having problems, we can call Kawakami. You don't have to pressure yourself", said Miyuki trying to relax him.
"G-guys. I'm fine. It's just shocking that we made it to the finals", said Sawamura chuckling awkwardly. Everyone relaxed seeing his smile. "Yeah, I can't believe myself", said Haruicchi. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? BAKAMURA! THE GAME ISN'T OVER YET!", yelled Kanemaru smacking his head from the back. Everyone laughed witnessing this. "I think that's enough now let's get back", said Miyuki and everyone nodded agreeing with him. 'I hope this relaxes Sawamura', he thought as he walked back.
Meanwhile, Rei in Yakushi's Dugout. 'Don't run away, Sawamura, Be aggressive', he thought seeing Sawamura struggle on the field.
Back on the mound. 'This is fine… I have all my reliable teammates behind me. I can do this!', thought Sawamura pumping his hand. He looked at Raichi and took a deep breath.
Raichi took his position and grabbed his bat tightly. 'Hit! Hit! Hit!'.
'Pitch, Just like you normally do, Sawamura. Now give me an inside', thought Miyuki signaling him. Sawamura nodded and pitched.
Raichi grinned and swung his bat. A clashing sound was heard as the ball flew and hit the backboard.
Seeing the ball hit the backboard, Sawamura was horrified and stood there defeated, his head hung low. The world had stopped for him.
"You've got to be kidding me", muttered Asou seeing the ball hit the backboard. He clenched his jaw, 'NO! NO!'.
"KEHAHAHAHA!!", laughed Raichi as he touched all the bases and made it home. Mishima also made it home.
"Yakushi Scores! Raichi has hit a home run again! GAME SET! The match is called, Yakushi has dominated this match!", said the announcer.
As soon as Yakushi heard 'Game Set!', they jumped on each other in celebration. While all the players from Seido had tears overflowing. They fell to the ground crying and pathetically defeated.
In the Audience, Wakana, and all of Sawamura's acquaintances cried seeing this match. Though Chiaki and Reiji cheered for their son at the top of their lungs. While Seido's 3rd years who had come to watch this match sighed and left since they couldn't watch Seido get utterly defeated.
