Chapter 3: Mysterious Box
POV: Aesir
" Can you even hear me? Aesir, open this damned box." It spoke again, whatever was inside this box spoke in a very angry tone.
" Who are you?" I asked, a little scared of what could be inside of it. ff
" Huh? What happened to your voice?" It asked.
" What are you?" I asked again.
" It's weird, who are you?" The Voice asked, Things were getting confusing to me.
" My name is Aesir."
" If you are Aesir then why don't you remember me." The voice said to me.
" Why should I remember you if this is the first time I am actually meeting you or rather hearing you."
" Open the box then we will talk." The Voice asked.
Even though I was alarmed, there was no reason to not open it. Since it was something inside the ring that grandpa had given me, I opened it. It wasn't difficult to open as I just simply undid the lock over the box. Inside the box was a golden bracelet and scroll. Suddenly the bracelet shined and sent a pulse of energy throughout the room.
" You are not Aesir." The Voice now came out of the bracelet.
" What are you?" I asked.
" I am the primordial spirit of lighting, Vetra." The Voice answered, " Where am I?"
" You are in my dorm room, currently we are in the Majestic Tower Academy," I answered.
" It seems I have been asleep for too long, I can tell that my contract with Aesir has been broken. Are you his descendant?" Vetra asked, his words were not as loud as before.
" My name is Aesir, I am the grandson of Avel Alistair."
There was too much confusion between us, the bracelet stopped shining and speaking. What were this thing that grandpa had and that scroll why does it seem that I have seen it somewhere before? Yeah, I have seen it before once in grandpa's hands. He was doing some kind of experiments just to open it and see the rune letter I was sure that the unique runes he had been researching in his notes came from this scroll.
Before I knew it, I had the scroll in my hand and suddenly it started to shine. ' Why is everything shining, today?' It started to spin in the air and open itself.
" What the hell is this thing?" It was Vetra who spoke.
" I don't know, I can not even understand what is written over it."
" Well, I can at least understand one line," Vetra said.
" Really?" There was something about this bracelet, he suddenly started to act friendly as if he wasn't one of the things I was concerned about now. He hadn't explained to me properly what he was properly and now we were discussing what the scroll was.
" It is some sort of contract," Vetra said.
" Is that so? What does the contract say?"
" I said one line," Vetra replied. " Rest of it is written with runes."
" It's shady I should just scroll it close and then put it back inside my ring," I said, not wanting to take any risks.
I grabbed the scroll but as soon as I did something weird happened and it transformed into golden particles slowly forming a golden storm in the air.
" I think whatever you do is bound to turn into something weird," Vetra said.
Suddenly the light flashed so brightly that it made me blind and for some reason, all of my energy was drained out of my body. I felt my head spinning and slowly my consciousness fading.
[ The Contract Has Been Established.] I saw these words flying in the air before I finally fell to the ground.

Opening my eyes I could see a white sealing above my head, there was nothing I could make of this situation. Just a moment ago I was in my dorm room and now I was somewhere else.
" Finally you woke up." I heard the voice of Vetra once again.
" Where am I?" I asked, " Where are you?" I added as I searched for the bracelet.
" On your hand." He replied and when I looked he was on my hand, " As for your first question, just look at the words floating in front of you."
[ Because of You Being Unconcious, I transferred your body to the protected space.]
" What is this?" I asked and as soon as I did, the text in front of my eyes changed.
[ I am pandora, The artificial spirit of wisdom and evolution. I was created to one day serve you.]
[ The time has come for you to finally start your journey and fulfill your duty.]
" What are you guys? Spirits, what does that even mean?" I asked.
[ A spirit is an entity that is born when certain rules are fulfilled.]
[ I am a little different, I am an artificial spirit, the creation of a wizard named Zoran.]
[ Today when I came into contact with his legendary staff I was awakened and then I also awakened the primordial spirit Vetra.]
" Oh, that's how I was awakened," Vetra spoke. " Anyone, I need to make a contract to exist here in this realm, would you like to make a contract with me as well?"
" Who are you asking?"
" You, since you are the descendant of Aesir."
" I don't know which Aesir, you two are talking about but I am not who you are thinking. Both of you are misunderstanding me as someone else."
" You have the desire for power right? I could feel it, almost every spirit could tell. Lucky for you, I can help you gain that power, using my powers you can even kill the gods." Vetra said, he was right that I wanted to become stronger but I didn't understand what these things called spirits are and how could they even help me.
" First I want to know everything about you and the person you say I am the descendant of. Explain to me everything in detail then I will agree to anything, do you understand?" I told him.
" I understand."
