Scott didn’t wait for Phil to call him back with any news. As soon as he left Florence’s old house, he called one of his men and asked him to prepare his jet to leave for Switzerland as soon as possible. He also asked him to prepare a bag for him and meet him at the airport in an hour.

No matter what Phil had discovered, Scott wouldn’t just sit there and wait. If Florence was on her way to Europe, Scott would waste no time meeting her there. And if she wasn’t, well, he’d be back at square one.

But he wouldn’t think about it now. Something in his heart was telling him that Isabella knew where her daughter was, and he wanted to hold on to it as long as he could.
