Chapter 459: Spar?-1

Samuel woke up the next morning to find the bed was empty; he looked around and saw it must have been some time since they left.

" It's only nine. They stayed up late, so it's strange that no one is here." He thought and went to freshen up.

After a light shower, he went downstairs to find Grandma and Kayla talking in the living room. There were empty plates on the table; they seemed to have already had breakfast.

" Where is everyone?" He asked.

" They followed Mayra to her work; they were very eager to spend time with children," Kayla replied. Her condition seemed to be fine with how much she drank last night.

But it was surprising that everyone followed Mayra without even informing him; her work usually revolved around running the non-profit, but that didn't mean she personally dealt with every child they rescued.
