Chapter 696: Dad Will Protect You All

Michael turned around after hearing Wendy scream, and saw her sitting on the floor.

He was scared out of his mind, and rushed to Wendy's side.

He looked at her earnestly and asked, "Did you injure yourself? Let's go back to the doctor!"

Michael picked Wendy up and started rushing to the doctor's room.

Seeing how nervous and worried Michael was, Wendy knew that she crossed the line, so she whispered, "I, I didn't injure myself actually..."

Michael stopped running after hearing that.

He frowned and immediately realized what happened.

He then gently put down Wendy as his face turned white. He said with a serious tone, "Wendy Stewart, how dare you use yourself and the baby to trick me like that?"

Wendy then pinched the corner of Michael's shirt after seeing Michael become angry than before and said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to do that."
