Yvonne was in a trance as she lay in the hospital bed. She did not know what had gone wrong. She thought, why doesn't Michael care about me anymore? if this were like before, Michael would surely take my side and personally take me to the hospital. 

Mr. York had left after seeing her at the hospital. Now, she was all alone in bed. Yvonne gripped the sheets beneath her tightly. Gritting her teeth, she cursed Wendy under her breath, "Wendy, you sl*t. What kind of spell did you put Michael under? Why does he keep taking your side now? "

She thought, no, I can't just sit here and wait around. Whipping out her phone, she called Michael's number.

When Michael saw an incoming call from Yvonne, he frowned. Deep down, he felt slightly resistant. However, Yvonne had been with him for four years. Michael hesitated momentarily before answering her call.
