Chapter 100: Cook for me

~The Imperial Palace~

After the Emperor left the Empress's chambers he went to the throne room to sit instead of returning to his palace.

In that large room with different expensive items put together in it, it was only him and his attending Eunuch.

No one else.

All the palace guards stood outside, away from him.

For almost half an hour, Emperor Tammu was lost in thought.

Given the threat from the Shogun that threatened his rule, he was bound to be restless. How could he get some sleep?

He didn't even know the kind of method that will be used to get rid of him.

Will the Shogun turn the palace to a bloodbath?

The Emperor was thinking too much. Turning the palace into a blood bath for a puppet like him, was giving him too much honour.

The Shogun could easily take him out while he was sleeping, or even poison his food at one go so he could rest in peace eternally.
