Chapter 87: Who he was

Holding her hand, Naoki led her toward the spread out screen that divided the bedchamber and the sitting area.

Before they could even get there, a servant had already moved the screen aside to give them access into the room.

Seeing where he was leading her into, Haruka felt her heart literally fly out of her chest.

'Are they going to bed?'

It finally dawned on her when the servant in the room walked away. And soon, quick footsteps were heard from the other side.

It turned out that they servants were quickly clearing the sitting area. Within a minute, the noise died down as all of them dispersed from their surrounding, leaving them both alone to enjoy their wedding night.

"Sit." Naoki instructed as they stopped beside the bed.

Without a word, Haruka sat on the bed and let her gaze follow him as he took few steps away from the bed.
