Chapter 2: Chapter 23: Threat.
Jeremy walked into his study angrily. How dare she. After what she put him through last night. She still had the guts to talk to him any how she pleased. What was he expecting any way. He thought as he rubbed his head.
"Woah, you look angry. Are we safe?"
Steve said and Jeremy turned to him.
Both him and Tony were in his study.
"What are you guys doing here?" Jeremy asked.
"We came to talk business. We asked Thomas to inform you about our arrival but he said you were handling something upstairs. Is everything alright.?" Tony asked as he handed a glass of Scotch to Jeremy.
Jeremy took the glass and swallowed the entire content with one gulp.
"Dude. Slow down. l bet you can handle whatever is bothering you."
"Shut up Steve. Tony talk."
"Well we are having a bit of a dilemma."
"What's wrong."
"One of our top clients Mr Raymond was threatened yesterday."
"Threatened.??"
"Yep. He was asked to stop working with us or else his family members would bare the consequences." Steve said.
Jeremy eyes turned dark.
"Who threatened him.??"
"Mr Woods." Tony replied.
"Mr Woods? Diana father.?" Jeremy asked amused.
"Yes. sources say that he has a new foreign business partner and together they plan on bringing you and si tech down."
A wicked smile emerged from Jeremy's face.
"Steve." Jeremy called.
"Yeah. "
"Why don't you pay Mr Woods and his foreign business partner a visit and deliver a message from me."
"With all pleasure." Steve replied with a smile.
"Oh and also tell him to control his daughter. Tell them If anything ever happens to Melissa again then She would seriously regret it."
Tony and Steve looked at each other.
"Who's Melissa.?" Tony asked confused."And what does she have to do with any of this."
"She's a really hot artist Jeremy meet at the arts exhibition the other night." Steve said with a wink.
"Wink again and I'll pluck your eyes out." Jeremy replied.
With a smile on his face Steve said " So you actually went to meet her like l advised. Hmm so you listened to me. Did you guys go on a date.?"
Before Jeremy could say anything there was a knock on the door and Thomas walked in.
"Pardon my intrusion sir. But the miss from last night would like to see you in your room." Thomas said.
Jeremy nodded.
Thomas bowed and left. Tony and Steve were stunned.
"Dude. Seriously. you work fast.
I thought a chick like her would be really hard to get. But you got her. I'm sure it's all because your really good looking and rich." Steve said with a smirk.
"Shut your mouth. Nothing happened between us."
"Then why did you bring her home." Tony asked this time around. He was also curious. Jeremy had never brought a woman to his house before.
"I don't owe any one an explanation." Jeremy said as he stood up and left. He went upstairs to meet Melissa. perhaps she had remembered everything. He couldn't wait to see the embarrassed look on her face as she apologised.
